School Fundraiser Idea

Raising funds for a school can take on many different forms. There are more traditional fundraising ideas like selling candy bars or doing a car wash, but these fundraising methods are time consuming and often not very productive, or fun, for the participants.

Why not do a form of school fundraising that is both fun and can make money for the school that is trying to raise the funds? How can this be accomplished? After all, fundraising is supposed to be hard, right?

This does not have to be the case if you do an inflatable outdoor movie night in your schoolyard. This is a fun and affordable option for almost any school fundraiser.

The concept behind an inflatable outdoor movie night is simple. Simply hire an inflatable movie rental company to come to your school and set up their screen in your schoolyard. Then all you need to do is play a movie that is exciting for people to watch outside. Make sure to check on licensing before you do this however.

You can charge admission for the movie that is going to be watched during the evening. Additionally you can rent a concession machine from a rental company, probably the same one that you rented the inflatable screen from. With that concession rental you can make the concessions on-site and sell them. The most popular concession is popcorn obviously, but any concession machine will really work for a movie night.

By the time the night has ended you will have completed a successful school fundraiser event. There was really minimal upfront setup time and everyone had a good time. It is probably one of the easier school fundraiser activities that you could do.
