Students who are in current third year of their medical study and are about to enter the fourth yea are eligible to receive the medical scholarship. Referred to as the ‘Physicians of Tomorrow Scholarships’, the program offers $10,000 as free money to students. The candidates’ nomination is sent by the medical school itself. Medical colleges can send scholarship nominations in three categories including journalism, teaching/ mentoring and general category. The scholarship money is provided to medical students who have been actively involved in community services, displayed academic excellence and extraordinary leadership skills.
