Scarlett Johansson Tells us How She Got Sculpted for Iron Man 2
Scarlett Johansson will wear a black catsuit in her upcoming film, "Iron Man 2," and by all accounts, her hard work in the gym has paid off quite nicely.
It’s odd when a celebrity "tells all" about how she got all sexy for a recent film, especially when that celebrity is Scarlett Johansson and most of us thought she couldn’t actually get any sexier in the first place. That’s not how the young starlet sees it, however, and she was, frankly, pretty excited about "getting into shape." Johansson will take on Tony Stark in the second installment of "Iron Man" and to do so, she had to don a very revealing Lycra catsuit.
Johannson noted that it was "very challenging and really exciting for me because I have never had to do anything like this before. It’s really exciting to see it all culminate to this point and really get to see the Black Widow up there on the big screen." There will, no doubt, be millions of teenage boys – as well as equal numbers of young, middle aged and old men – who will also enjoy seeing the Black Widow on the big screen. Johannson went on to say, "It was many, many, hours, days and months of stunt training and strength training, but it’s fun because I had a goal. The goal was the Lycra catsuit."
Johannson continued to expound on the beauty of the catsuit, noting, "It was crazy to see it for the first time – everything all zipped up and all the weapons in there, bracelets on, the whole look. It was pretty sweet, I have to say." Director Jon Favreau was quick to point out Scarlett’s hard work as well. Said Favreau, "She was wearing an unforgiving costume. She didn’t eat much, that’s for sure. She likes food, as do I, and she was definitely on a low-carb diet and training very hard. It was amazing. I think people are going to be very impressed when they see her. It’s totally different than anything you’ve seen her do before."
