Shattered emotions,
He doesn't know whether to run or stay.
A strong appearance, but a broken heart.
He longs for happiness,
But it never seems to be within his grasp.
That's why he wears a mask.
That's why he wears a blanket of darkness,
To cover his fears.
That's why he cries.

He wants to run,
But can't bring himself to disappear.
He is so alone in this new world,
Trying to make his way.
He thinks he’s a great guy,
But inside he knows he’s just cruel.
He blames his cruelty on survival,
But knows it’s pointless.
So he goes on wearing his mask,
