Scared Little Boy

My teacher gave us an assignment... she gave us a picture; it was of the holocaust... a gun was pointed at a little boys head.
What did I do to deserve this?
I didn’t even know I was a crime
Am I the one they need to dismiss?
So soon so quick, not a lifetime

Can express what I wanted to do
So quick to end, to drop so sudden
You can’t understand, my life is new
It happened so fast, made my head spun

This is gun pointed directly at me
Why is all that I need to ask?
How long will this take, an eternity
Just do it and make it fast

Where am I, I can’t take it any more
Where’s my mother I can't see her?
I feel the shot in my inner core
All I can think is "I’m sorry sir"
