Scar Tissue Removal
After some serious injury or a surgery, the wound heals subsequently. The only thing that is left behind is a scar. Many a times, scars make us lose our confidence. Here is some information regarding the scar tissue removal. Let us take a look at it.
Scar Tissue Healing
The method that is to be employed for scar tissue removal is dependent on the cause of the scarring. When the skin is damaged due to any reason, our body has the power to naturally heal the wound. In the process of scar tissue healing, the healthy skin tissues are recreated. However, most of the times, the recreated tissues do not function as the original ones and a protective barrier is formed from the scar tissue on the skin that is known as a scar. Also, in the healing process there are three stages viz., acute inflammation, repair and remodeling. The scar tissue is painful in the inflammatory stage. Many a times, even after the remodeling process, scar tissue pain can persist. This pain is usually experienced during some movement of that particular organ. The scar tissue symptoms can persist for years, as they are painful in cold weathers. Numbness is another symptom of the scar tissue.
Scar Tissue Treatment
The treatment of scar tissue depends upon the cause of scarred tissue, extent of scarring and the organ of the body that has developed the scar tissue. There are many non-surgical treatments that can heal the scar tissue. However, in some cases, the doctors recommend scar tissue removal surgery. Read more on reducing scar tissue. Here are some of the treatments for scar tissue removal:
Needling
In the process of needling, the scar tissue removal is done using needles. The affected area is continuously needled so as to promote the formation of collagen. However, this procedure of needling must be done only under medical supervision.

This collagen is, however, a bit harder than the original skin tissue. After the dermabrasion, the skin that is treated and skin that is untreated can be differentiated. The skin that is treated appears to be more shinny and lighter than the untreated skin.
