• Apply some lemon juice or simply rub a slice of lemon on the affected area, to reduce the prominence of scars.
• Mix some juice of tomato and cucumber together and apply on the scars. This anti-oxidants rich mixture helps in removing the scars.
• Mix 2 tsp. of Fuller's earth with 2 tsp. lemon juice and apply on the affected area (preferably on face) and wash it off after 15 mins. Repeat the procedure twice a day for few months.
• Make some paste of sandalwood and apply it on the affected area and keep it overnight. Wash it off the next morning. This helps in lightening the scar.
• Increasing the intake of wheatgerm oil also helps in removing the scars.

Apart from the above natural remedies for scar removal, you can also opt for cosmetic methods like dermabrasions, dermafilling or laser cosmetic surgery. Remember, scar removal remedies work best, when the scar is young and fresh, so do not delay the treatment for scar removal.
