Corn can be used in a variety of ways to cook easy and delectable dishes at home. The scalloped corn food item was something I discovered at my friend's bash. Despite having very little time on hand, she had managed to whip up some amazing stuff to my surprise and delight! Marveling at the beautiful spread she had prepared for this bash, she mentioned about her favorite scalloped corn recipes. I am sure these easy scalloped corn recipes can surely add more variety for your dinnertime.

Scalloped Corn Recipe #1
Ingredients
Egg (1)
Salt and pepper to taste
Butter
Half and half / milk and cream (1/3 cup)
Cream-style corn (One 15 ounce can)
Soda crackers - crushed (24 to 30)
Golden whole kernel corn - drained; reserve 3 tablespoons of the liquid (One 15 ounce can)

Preparation:
Beat the egg in a bowl until it turns frothy and add the seasonings. Add the reserved liquid along with the corn. Now, add 2 tablespoons of butter along with some cream and cracker crumbs and mix this preparation well. Place this in a casserole and top it with remainder crumbs. Add a dollop of butter. Bake the entire preparation at 350° F for half an hour.

Scalloped Corn Recipe #2
Ingredients
Creamed corn - (One 15 ounce)
Eggs (2)
Butter (1/2 cup)
White sugar (2 tablespoons)
Whole kernel corn - (One 15.25 ounce can)
Sour cream - (One 8 ounce container)
Corn muffin mix - One package (8.5 ounce)

Preparation
First, preheat the oven to 350° F. Meanwhile, lightly grease a baking dish. Mix the eggs, sour cream, melted butter, corn and sugar in a medium-sized bowl. Add the muffin mix to this as well. Pour this preparation into the baking dish. Now, bake it for 40 minutes and serve.

Scalloped Corn Recipe #3
Ingredients
Eggs (2)
Butter
Creamed corn (Three 15 ounce cans)
Crushed saltine crackers (1 cup)
Paprika (1/2 teaspoon)
Ground black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)

Preparation:
Lightly butter a casserole dish. Meanwhile, you need to preheat the oven to 350° F. Then, combine the following ingredients in a medium bowl - eggs, creamed corn, melted better (1/4 cup) and cracker crumbs (1/2 cup). Now, pour this mixture into the prepared dish.

Meanwhile, mix the remaining quantity of melted butter in a small bowl along with cracker crumbs, pepper and paprika. Add these crumbs as topping over the casserole. Bake this preparation at 350° F for at least 40 minutes.

Scalloped Corn Recipe #4
Ingredients
Eggs - beaten (2)
Milk (1/4 cup)
Saltine crackers (20)
Whole kernel corn (1 can)
Creamed corn (1 can)
Salt and pepper

Ingredients for the Topping:
Saltines (20-25)
Butter - divided into 1 Tablespoon pieces (4 Tbsp in total)

Preparation
Beat eggs in a medium-sized bowl and add both the cans of corn to it. You also need to preheat the oven to 375° F. Then, crumble the crackers into corn and add a pinch of salt and pepper. Follow this by adding the milk and stir the preparation so that it blends well. Crumble the crackers and use as topping. Ensure the topping covers the corn completely. Place the 4 pieces of butter on different areas of the topping. Bake this preparation at 375° F for at least 40 minutes and serve.
