Medical Treatment for Scabies
Permethrin: Permethrin 5%, can be recommended by the doctor. This cream contains chemicals which kill scabies. This cream is considered safe to use for children and adults. You can buy this cream, and after taking a shower massage the cream from head to toe. Leave the cream for 8 hours and then wash the cream off with a shower.
Sulfur Topical Medications: Sulfur creams are one of the best home remedies to get rid of scabies skin disorders. Use a 2.5% concentrate sulfur creams for infants, and 10% sulfur concentrate cream for adults. Take a bath at night before going to sleep, and then apply the cream from head to toe. Repeat this remedy for 3 consecutive nights, on the fourth day you can take a normal shower.
Lindane: This medication is available in cream, lotion or shampoo form. Similar to permethrin, it needs to be applied in two treatments, with a gap of a week.
