Say It's Not So
Yah!
I have no more life in me,
The days are getting darker and colder,
This is beyond my control.
He holds my cold hand,
Whispering assuring words in my ears,
Oh but we both know,
I am not going to live.
He asks me if I truly love him,
"I will always love you," I reply,
He wipes the sweat off my brow.
The life is leaking out of me,
I can breathe no more,
It is not fair but,
The angels have called me,
He kisses my cold lips,
As I ascend into the heaven.
The days are getting darker and colder,
This is beyond my control.
He holds my cold hand,
Whispering assuring words in my ears,
Oh but we both know,
I am not going to live.
He asks me if I truly love him,
"I will always love you," I reply,
He wipes the sweat off my brow.
The life is leaking out of me,
I can breathe no more,
It is not fair but,
The angels have called me,
He kisses my cold lips,
As I ascend into the heaven.
