Save the Shabak Nation in Northern Iraq – Avert a Genocide Planned by Criminal ‘Kurdish’ Militias
In several previous articles, I focused on the tyranny that has been imposed on all the nations of Northern Iraq by the colonial alliance between the Anglo-French, the Americans, and the gangs of Talabani and Barzani.

One of the least known victims of the colonial tyranny is the old and highly cultured nation of the Shabak. The asphyxiating and excruciating tyranny imposed on them by the militias of the Mesopotamian butcher Barzani – who is shamefully taken as interlocutor by the Anglo-French and American colonials – created already among the Shabak a shock worse than that of the days of Saddam Hussein.

The cruel environment in which the Shabak find themselves nowadays has precisely to do with their insistence to demarcate themselves from the Kurds with whom the disreputable Anglo-French colonial academia have persistently and fallaciously associated them in order to trigger the acculturation, assimilation, and extermination of the Shabak Nation.

The cultural identity of the Shabak, their national integrity, their historical distinctiveness from all the rest gives a lethal hit against the Anglo-French colonial myth of a country called ‘Kurdistan’ and a nation called ‘Kurds’.

To seek a provisory shelter, the Shabak, the representative and peaceful Shabak Democratic Assembly, and the Shabak leader Dr. Al-Qaddo, do not directly ask for autonomy and independence but for preservation of the Iraqi state’s integrity which they consider as a possible counetrweight to the rising pseudo-Kurdish butchery and tyranny.

The struggle for worldwide awareness and international recognition of the Nation of Shabak starts just now. It is not however realistic to expect the technical entity ‘’Iraq" to last much. Its disintegration is a fact. Sooner or later the Shabak, along with the Yazidis, the Failis, the Aramaeans, the Turkmen and others, will have to ask the formation of autonomous cantons and the presence of a UN peace keeping force.

What does it matter if the Shabak total ca. 500000 people?

Why do Luxemburg and Montenegro - with similar population - have the right to national independence and the Shabak do not?

If the Kirkuk Oil is exploited in the future, it will be extracted in Turkmenia, but the pipelines will have to cross the lands of the Yazidis and the Shabak, and these nations will have to get an income as well.

Oil income cannot be left in the hands of the gangsters Brazani and Talabani who intend to use it in order to further trigger the imposition of a tyrannical regime on many different nations, the explosion of many wars with neighboring countries, the perpetration of incessant terrorist acts, and the expansion of their businesses, namely drugs trade and human trafficking.

What follows is a selection of several news and thematic units from the Shabak website Shabak News. They shed light of the Shabak nation, their past and present, and their great troubles as they are widely exposed to the Talabani and Barzani gangsters’ inhumanity and mosntrosity.

The Shabak villages and their families provided food for the visitors (processions), who have pilgrimed on foot to the holy shrine on foot. They also set tents for the visitors for resting and distributed fresh water.

The Shabak villages are situated in three districts of the Nineveh province, Hamdania, Mosul and Tall Afar and on Monday 16.02.2009 they will all gather at the junction of Bartalah hand in hand for a mass march a distance of 9 km to Ali Rash village.

The Hamdania police forces stated that "we have a large police protection force to secure the village and its visitors".

The Shabaks speak their own language and have their traditional clothes and customs, which they have inherited from their parents and grandparents and are found only in the province of Nineveh.

The Shabak People’s Voices are Heard

Mosul

After a very hard campaign were the Kurdish parties have always stated that the Shabak are Kurds in trying to Kurdify the region and annexing it into the Kurdistan region. While using all tricks and methods to buy some Shabak people, at the end they have failed.

The first results from the provincial election show that the Shabak Democratic Assembly had almost 70% of the votes while the pro Kurdish party Mullah Salim a mere 23%.

We congratulate the Shabak people on this great day , we also congratulate Dr. AL-Qaddo and all members of the Shabak Democratic Assembly on this unforgetable day.

We say once again that we love the Kurdish people and are willing to work and live in peace with all factions and minorities, but the Shabak will stay as Shabak forever.

Ninevah Plain

On the 27th January 2009 the Shabak Democratic Assembly lead by Dr. AL-Qaddo Iraqi MP held the largest ever conference with almost 1500 members taking part before the provincial elections regarding the permanent Shabak seat in the upcoming elections.

The main aim of the conference was to unite all the Shabak people together and to let the world hear that the Shabak will not let any party or power steal their rights , identity or their lands.

Dr. AL-Qaddo and Mr. Qusay Abbass speech in the conference centered about the Shabak as an ethnic group uniting the Shabak Shia und Shabak Suniis to work together for the future of the Ninevah plain and the Shabak area particularly stating that they will not allow the Ninevah plain be annexed into the Kurdistan region but rather stay under the rule of the central government in Baghdad.

Television and Sattelite stations from AL-Mousilia and AL-Iraqia broadcasted this huge conference .

The Shabak Democratic Assembly on Campaign Tour

Ninevah Plain

Two weeks before the provincial elections in Iraq the Shabak Democratic Party led by Dr. AL-Qaddo and all the members of the Shabak Assembly constructed a campaign tour visiting all the Shabak villages in the Ninevah plain. The Shabak Democratic Assembly worked day and night in meeting as much Shabak people as possible, handing out posters and also making speeches infront of hundreds of Shabak sheiks, intellectuals , youth and particuraly the Shabaki women.

The ShabakNews administration crew were allowed to accompany the Shabak Democratic Assembly on their campaign tour, which started early every morning at 08:00 and usually ended at night until 22:00.

We visited almost all the Shabak villages in the Ninevah plain and were always warmly greeted by the local people who ran towards our convoy. The people would come out of their humble houses eagerly greeting Dr. AL-Qaddo and the other members.

Dr. AL-Qaddo and Mr. Qusay Abbass the Shabak representative for the provicial elections would shakehands warmly with all the people urging that these lands are Shabak lands of our forefathers and they will stay forever to the Shabak people.

Children would run behind and infront of our convoy chanting for the Shabak rights.

In one coinsidence I was personally threatened by a Kurdish Peshmerga party leader in Shaqoully Village, he came to me with his bodyguards and wanted to confiscate my camera for taking photos of posters which have been overwritten with the number 511. He also called the main Kurdish Party Headquarters in Ninevah plain were his party leader urged him to arrest me and all of Dr. AL-Qaddos convoy. He replied to his leader by saying "They are too many , how can I arrest all of them... We will send you back up " was the reply of his boss.

Election Violations Committed by Pro-Kurdish Party

Ninevah Plain

The ShabakNews administration crew visited Iraq and its beloved Shabak people in the Ninevah Plain. It was a great honour to meet Dr. Al-Qaddo and we were allowed to accompany Dr. AL-Qaddo and members of the Shabak Democratic Assembly on their campaign tour before the provincial elections on the 31st January 2009 .

As we toured the Shabak villages in the Ninevah Plain we noticed that most of the Posters and Elections banners from the Shabak Democratic Assembly under the number of 509 have been ripped or the number 509 was overwritten with the number 511.

The election number 511 is for the pro Kurdish party which is lead by the traitor Mallah Salim and his gang who are trying to Kurdify the Shabak area and annex it into the Kurdistan region with financial aid and support from the main Kurdish parties.

They have even distributed fake checks a sum of 10 Million Iraqi Dinars for each Shabak family who votes for them

On the 8th of January 2009 the Shabak Democratic Party organised a large Shabak peoples conference to formerly announce the Shabak candidate Mr. Qusay Abbass for the upcoming provincial elections.

Hundreds of Shabaks attended the conference giving full support to the Shabak Democratic Party and its candidate Mr. QUsay Abbass.

The Shabak people and the Shabak Democratic Party critisised some Shabak traitors who are trying to Kurdify the Shabak region and who have also asserted their names as Shabak candidates for the upcoming provincial elections although they have clearly stated in the media that they are Kurds.

Failed Assasination Attempt on Dr. AL-Qaddo

Ali Rash

On 07.01.2009 while DR. AL-Qaddo and other members of the Shabak Democratic Party were greeting and participating in the mourning ceremonies of Ashura at Zaen AL-Abedeen Mosque in Ali Rash Shabak village, a sudden burst of gun fire and ammounition was fired at Dr. AL-Qaddos driver and at Dr. AL-Qaddos car. At that moment of time Dr. AL-Qaddo was close to his car outside the Zaen AL-Abedeen Mosque, he was quickly surrounded by his bodyguards and rushed into the mosque.Eye witnesses viewed that Kurdish militia opened fire on AL-Qaddos car and his driver. No one was injured.

We condemn this cowardly act !!!!
