The Historic District: For an understanding of life of a bygone era, take a stroll through Savannah’s famed historic district.
This area can be explored on a walking tour, a carriage tour, the old town trolley tour, or by driving. Along the way you will see the following locations as well as many others: Scarborough house, with the Ships of the Sea Museum, Telfair Mansion and Art Museum. The Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace and Girl Scout National Center, the Green-Meldim House, the Wesley Monumental Church, Colonial Park Cemetery, Riverfront Plaza, the Beach Institute African American Cultural Center, Forsyth Park, the Isaiah Davenport House and several dozen other historical sites.
Military Monuments: Fans of all things Civil War will appreciate these remembrances of some of the South’s most renowned history.
Fort Jackson: Just outside of Savannah, you can visit Georgia’s oldest fort; it was garrisoned in1812 and later used as the headquarters for the Confederate Army. You will see battle re-enactments, blacksmithing demonstrations, and assorted exhibits.
Ft. Pulaski National Monument: Located on Cockspur Island; this is a favorite of Civil War history buffs. You will find moats, drawbridges, ramparts and more.
Evening Entertainment: After a day of sightseeing, tours and relaxing get a taste of Savannah night life.
Diamond Casino Cruise Ships: For Vegas style fun like Blackjack, Texas Hold ‘Em, slot machines and others, this is just the place.
River Street Riverboat Co: For sightseeing themed dinner cruises, dancing and live entertainment, plan on an evening spent here.

Lake Meyer Park: Spend some family time here as you pursue inline skating, hockey, paddle boats, sailing and canoeing.

Savannah National Wildlife Refuge: Take a walk on the wild side as you visit this 29,000 acre area. You can enjoy watching the wildlife, have a picnic lunch, or explore the hiking trails.
Chatham County Garden Center and Botanical Gardens: If you love flowers and gardening, be sure to spend some time visiting the gardens here. The 1840’s home and garden are worth a visit.
