Satellite choices and installation
Satellite TV choices and quick installation guide.
Satellite TV is a growing trend in the USA and has been for a while. However, before you can install is dish you need to be aware of where you will mount your satellite dish. The Satellite needs to point to the south in the sky. It's best to have it on the roof where it is not seen or less things obstruct it's view. However on the side of the house is also an option.
You will also want to determine how many televisions in your house use the satellite. Each TV requires it's own reciever to function. And there is an additional fee for added recievers. So count that into your budget. You can also share a reciever with two televisions. With this method though only one show can be watched between both TVs. After the cable has been installed it is attached to the receivers and the receivers are then connected to your TVs.
The last step to the installation is configuring the frequency for the dish network you are using. This can be done following the user guide. If this is your first time with a satellite dish we recommend using an installation professional. This service usually is offered free with new installations from your selected Dish Network company.
Finally you need to select the package that suites you with the network of your choice. If you are a huge movie buff there are packages made up just for you. If you are into sports there are a selection of choices there as well. If you are a big NFL fan you may want to stick with Directv as they own the rights to the NFL package.
Finally make sure you do your research and go with the company that gives you everything you want at the lowest monthly price possible.
