Sara Evans Cries Foul
Country singer Sara Evans filed for divorce on Thursday accusing her husband, Craig Schelske, of adultery and verbal abuse.

Evans filed for divorce on Thursday, the same day that she announced she was pulling out of the Dancing with the Stars competition for personal reasons. Now it has been revealed that Evans claims that Schelske has had an affair with their friend and former nanny to their three children, Alison Clinton. Evans also alleges that Schelske verbally abuses her, smokes cigarettes and drinks excessively in front of their children, and claims that he has a "stash" of porn on his computer including over 100 pictures of him completely naked and engaged in sex acts with other women. The papers also state, "On his computers husband maintains ‘Craig’s Lists.’ Many of them involve requests for three party and anal sex. Husband’s ‘Craig’s Lists’ are composed of personal ads on his personal sex engine involving him and prospective sex partners."
Schelske denies all accusations and has said, "I have made the decision to forgive Sara for the unfortunate campaign that she and her publicity advisers are currently waging. I adamantly deny the allegations that are being made. As distressing as it is to have to communicate about this matter publicly, Sara has unfortunately become a dramatically different person over the last year and it is something we have struggled to deal with. Sadly, it appears as if we have failed. The best I can do at this difficult time is ask that people of faith would pray for her and for my family." Schelske is a former Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate.
Evans has requested a temporary restraining order and is seeking primary custody of their three children – Avery, 7; Olivia, 3; and Audrey, 2. She is also requesting reasonable residential parenting time" for Schelske as well. Evans, 35, and Schelske, 43, were married in 1993. As far as their impending divorce Schelske’s attorney claims there are "two very different sides to the story" and Evans’ attorney claims to have "photographs to back up the allegations of the complaint." Seems like it could turn into a nasty court battle between the two.
