Sara Evans Split Heats Up

Evans and Schelske’s split just keeps getting uglier and uglier. First, Evans files for divorce claiming that her husband has had an affair with their friend and former nanny, Alison Clinton, a claim that both Schelske and Clinton deny. Now Schelske is claiming that Evans had an affair with her Dancing with the Stars co-star Tony Dovolani, which of course both Evans and Dovolani have denied the reports. Evans pulled out of the dancing competition last week saying "something happened" to end her marriage. She went on to say, "It’s very personal. It’s very traumatic and it was very hard for my children. Things drastically went downhill 100 miles an hour."

In the court papers filed on October 12, Evans claims Schelske had photos of himself having sex with other women, photos of him in the buff, and accused him of being addicted to pornography and that he watched porn in front of their children. Schelske claims that on one occasion he and Evans "were watching adult entertainment together when their oldest child, whom they believed to be secure and asleep, entered their room." He denies that there were any photos of him having sex with other women and claims that any pictures of him, taken without clothes on were taken by Evans one night. He said he "regrets the incident but would stet and show that Husband and Wife were acting as two consenting adults."

Schelske also claims that Evans suffered a nervous breakdown last year. According to the court documents, "Husband has been supportive of Wife since her apparent nervous breakdown in 2005 and has encouraged wife to see professional help and monitored medication." Evans, 35, and Schelske, 43, were married in 1993 and have three children ranging in age from 2-7.
