Sangria Wine Recipes

Easy Sangria Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 (750 ml) bottle dry red wine
- ½ cup triple sec
- ½ cup brandy
- ⅓ cup frozen lemonade concentrate
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ⅓ cup orange juice
- 1 fresh lemon (cut in round slices)
- 1 lime (cut in round slices)
- 1 orange (cut in round slices)
- 8 maraschino cherries
- ¼ cup white sugar (optional)
- 2 cups carbonated water
In a large bowl, combine together the ingredients - red wine, triple sec, brandy, lemonade concentrate, lemon juice, orange juice and sugar (in case you prefer a sweetened sangria drink). On top of this concoction, float lemon slices, lime slices, orange slices and maraschino cherries. Chill this in the refrigerator overnight to make the best tasting sangria wine. You can add carbonated soda just before serving to prepare a frizzy sangria.
Red Wine Sangria Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 (750ml) bottle hearty red wine
- 2 ounces brandy or peach brandy
- 2 ounces orange liqueur
- ¼ cup very hot water
- 3 oranges
- 2 limes
- 3 ripe peaches (peeled and cut into wedges)
- Ripe strawberries
- ¼ cup sugar
First of all, take a small bowl and dissolve sugar in hot water. Keep this sugar syrup aside to cool down. This will make sugar to easily mix in your sangria recipe. In a large pitcher, add wine, brandy, orange liqueur, sugar syrup, juices of 2 oranges, 1 lime and peach wedges. Cut the remaining 1 orange and 1 lime into thin round slices. Add this slices in the pitcher containing wine mixture. Refrigerate this wine and fruit cocktail for several hours, so that the ingredients blend well. While serving, pour red wine sangria recipe in wine glasses over ice cubes and garnish with ripe strawberries.
White Wine Sangria Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 bottle of white wine
- 3 fresh and ripe oranges (sliced)
- 1 lemon (sliced)
- 1 lime (sliced)
- 11 tbsp. white sugar
- ½ liter club soda (or ginger ale for sweet recipe)
In a large sized pitcher vessel, pour a bottle of white wine. In this, squeeze the juice from the sliced orange, lemon and lime. If you have shortage of oranges, replace one cup orange juice for 3 oranges. Add the fruit wedges after removing seeds into the wine and then, stir in sugar. If you have time, chill this white sangria wine overnight in the refrigerator. Next day serve by adding club soda or ginger ale. To serve immediately, use chilled club soda or ginger ale and serve with ice.
