Internet Marketing is a tricky trade. It’s the most efficient marketing method there is, in terms of cost per thousand (CPM). When you compare Internet marketing to alternatives of mass communications, such as TV or radio, it’s easy to see the efficiency. With mass communications alternatives, you pay a rate that is based on CPM. However, of the CPM that you pay to broadcast your marketing message to, only a portion of the audience is actually part of your target market. When using pay-per-click advertising (PPC), you are charged for each click. Ultimately, you are only paying for your target market to receive your advertisement.

There are so many benefits of Internet marketing. I began marketing online during my college days studying for a bachelor of business administration in marketing. My mentor, a doctorate of Management Information Systems, who specialized in e-commerce and human computer interaction of Web page design, generously taught me many tricks and techniques of marketing online. Of these tricks and techniques, he taught me powerful skills about how to earn a first page listing on search engines such as, Google and Yahoo.

Since my work for the professor, I have pursued many entrepreneurial endeavors online. Many of which were successful while some were not. One of the most fascinating things about marketing online is that everything is measurable. Internet marketing methods that I acquired in business school for both my BBA in marketing and my MBA are applicable. The application of these techniques allowed me to measure their impact and improve strategies to near perfection.

One of my endeavors was the establishment of an Internet marketing firm in San Antonio, called Industry Response. Through my work experience at the firm, I have successfully aided many small and midsized business owners reach their ROI goals. I always welcome the challenges of business and seek innovative strategies to develop a remedy for success.
