Salma Hayek: Engaged & Expecting!
It has been confirmed that actress Salma Hayek is engaged to businessman Francois-Henri Pinault and that they are expecting their first child.

Hayek’s rep released the following statement Friday: "Businessman, Francois-Henri Pinault, and his fiancée, Salma Hayek, are happy to announce they are expecting the arrival of their first child." Hayek and Pinault have kept their relationship pretty much under the radar since they began dating. She has reportedly joined him for the occasional public outing. She accompanied him to the inauguration of the Pinault Foundation’s Modern Art collection in Venice’s Gritti Palace in October.
Pinault is the CEO of the luxury goods firm PPR, which owns Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, a French department store named Printemps, and a national music chain FNAC. Hayek has most recently been busy as the executive producer of the hit show Ugly Betty, which just won a Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. She also guest starred on the show.
In the past Hayek, 40, dated actor Edward Norton from 1999-2003. She then was romantically involved with actor Josh Lucas for a year before the couple called it quits in 2004. She has said of public relationships, "What works in a relationship of very public people is not making the relationship public – keeping it as personal as it can be. It’s the only way it is real." She has also joked in the past, "I keep waiting to meet a man who has more balls than I do." Maybe Pinault fits the bill. There has been no official word about when the wedding will take place or when the baby is due.
