Sacred Island
Please read.
I looked out the window at the beautiful island, which now seemed so dangerous. There was a time when I used to think this place was the best in the world and I would never leave it. But I was just 10 years old when I thought I had everything I wanted, my parents, my servants, and maids and of course this beautiful island. But now it's not like what it was before the diharans invaded Neptune my island.
It was them who killed my parents the king and the queen and those who I loved and took over this island turning my own people against me. Since then they have kept me captured in this dungeon. Now it was too late for anyone to rescue me it has been 7 years since the death of my parents and the horrible slaughter of my 2 older brothers. Thinking about them just brought tears to my eyes. Oh how I missed them, longily waiting for them to come back to me, why did god give us this much pain. Miserably I looked around the dungeon, at the velvetish red carpeted ceiling and the floor, the king had moved me into this special dungeon for I had no reason why.
*
All of a sudden I heard loud footsteps, my head sharply turned toward the direction of the sound, it was the guard bringing a dressmaker, lady Garnerissa, dressed in a dark green robe, which was a little too low below the neckline making her look more like one of the kings mistress's. the guard unlatched the door and opened it wide enough for the lady Garnerissa to come in without her big bosom getting stuck in the door, and gladly the ceiling of the door was high enough for her enormous wig to fit through. Lady Garnerissa walked in swiftly with her hand clasped in front of her, probably afraid to get any of my essence off her.
"Miss Elizabeth, the king wishes to speak to you, of a formal matter in his library, he would like you thereafter dinner. And I have his orders to get you ready" she finished with a glare.
"But-".
"uhh that dress of yours needs a big hemline come on now, oh well, come on now let's get you all dressed up, and make you into something his highness would admire".
I glared at her but didn't have the time to yell at her because right behind her a maid came in holding five beautifully embroidered dresses.
Apparently I learned to keep quiet and let Lady Garnerissa do whatever she wanted, besides if I did she would slap me and tell me to keep my witty mouth shut. As she dressed me I refused to look into the mirror and examine myself I had no desire to look, for all I knew my life was over and they could do whatever they wanted with me and I wouldn't give a damn.
Now since she was done with the hideous dress she moved on to my dark black long locks. I could tell she was frustrated with it as she tried to let the golden comb through my hair, I felt pity for her because I knew it wasn't really going to work, but after a long battle with my hair I was surprise that she got rid of all my tangle and had curled them into bright shiny locks with the magical serum that only the rich nobles could afford. The more she forced me to even take a glance in the mirror the more I felt like kicking her in her fat bosom.
Finally it was time for dinner, surprisingly two courtiers came to escort me to dinner, what was going on?
CHAPTER 2
As soon as I walked into the room I gasped as I saw the long circular table filled with rich amount of food, and candles everywhere. My eyes wandered and stopped at the sight of the king himself, the murderer my eyes grew like stone and my heart went cold I hated him, I hated him so much.
He smiled his evil smile and gazed at me his ugly stone blue eyes wandered below my neck and I angrily followed the maid a seat directly across a boy who was probably half a year older than me but I didn't look at him, any friend of the king was my enemy.
The king stood from his chair and bowed to me
