Russia – The Pivotal Nation
With a disciple of Putin as ‘president’ in Moscow, America will gradually opt for isolationism, and then Russia will enforce alliances against Europe, and Israel.
Democratic leader Kasparov – targeted by Putin, abandoned by the West
It may look strange why mass media in England, America, France, and other ‘pillars’ of the Democratic World proved to be totally unable to highlight the great fight of the brave and ingenious Russian leader of the Democratic Opposition, as in their critics depict a tenebrous picture of Putin’s disgrace.
Standing outside his apartment block, in freezing Moscow temperatures, the Russian opposition leader said: "I hope people around the world can see what happens to opposition activists in Russia", adding that "this regime is entering a dangerous phase of becoming a dictatorship".
For the overtly misinformed Western readerships, it would be necessary to discuss more in detail about the dramatic degradation of the Human Condition in Russia, as this directly concerns their hypocritical leaders, who deliberately pursue a pathetic and nefarious strategy of confrontation with Russia for which they prefer the coarse tyrant to the intelligent democrat.
What occurred to Garry Kasparov consists in a bleak page of Russian and European History. More precisely, the Russian democratic opposition leader specified that he had been tried by a "kangaroo" court whose mission was to scare the ‘Other Russia’ opposition into ditching protest plans (http://www.sptimes.ru/index.php?action_id=2&story_id=23996).
For readers not familiar with the term, we copy here the definition given by Wikipedia: "Kangaroo courts are judicial proceedings that deny due process in the name of expediency. The outcome of such a trial is essentially made in advance, usually for the purpose of providing a conviction, either by going through the motions of manipulated procedure or by allowing no defense at all"
‘Other Russia’ is a wide, democratic coalition of Kremlin opponents who denounce Putin’s autocracy, oligarchy and plutocracy, stigmatizing the Kremlin’s disreputable regime for having crushed human rights and freedom of speech since the ominous former KGB director rose to power (http://www.theotherrussia.ru/eng/).
Undemocratic pseudo-elections – NGOs closed down
To let unaware readers get a brief and approximate idea of what has been happening in totalitarian Russia’s harassed society over the past few weeks, we just mention here the oppressive attitude pursued against NGOs specialized in the monitoring for election violations.
Golos (www.golos.org mainly in Russian - with material in English here: http://www.golos.org/r69.html?page=podrub) is one coalition of non-governmental groups (NGOs) monitoring for election violations; they have just announced that two of their offices in central Russia had been shut down by officials in what they described as a campaign to pressurize them to close down.
Lilia Shibanova, Executive Director of Golos, pointed out that the state agency that registers NGOs had been investigating the Samara offices for some time, and then, on November 22, they sent a letter ordering their closure for six months, citing violations in the registration procedure. Shibanova went on saying: "we believe this is pressure ... it is simply an attempt to stop organizations working on the elections".
The ambitious program of this Russian NGO is clearly attested here: "The Golos NGO Coalition, a network of civic organizations operating in fifteen regions of the Russian Federation, aims to ensure greater government responsiveness to citizens' wishes. Golos has been undertaking a program aimed at increasing public awareness of the workings of local government. Golos affiliates gather and analyze roll-call votes from the regional legislature; poll deputies; monitor deputies' public reception offices and attendance at parliamentary committee meetings; and track the final outcome of legislation. The results of these analyses are then printed and distributed for free to voters". (http://www.wmd.org/wbdo/oct-nov02/judicial.html).
Quite interestingly, Golos’s importance had been noticed by important American associations that are known for their dedication to the Human Rights, Democracy, and Freedom; quite deservedly, the Russian NGO had received a special Grant by the famous American National Endowment for Democracy that supports Freedom as a Universal Human Aspiration (http://www.ned.org/publications/newsletters/summer02.html). The question is why the political leaderships of America and Europe fail to understand the critical dimension of the rise of totalitarian forces in Russia.
Abandoning Russia to Putin heralds World War.
Instead of focusing on Kasparov and ‘Other Russia’, the western mass media seem to have it easy to accommodate themselves with news about Putin. Biased and hypocritical interpretations present Kremlin’s hideous murderer as ‘credited with restoring order in Russia after the chaotic 1990s’, and as ‘presiding over an economic boom, fuelled mainly by oil and gas revenues’.
Both assumptions are irrelevant and ludicrous; no one asked the average Russians whether they want an order a la Nicholas II or Stalin. A tyrannical order like that imposed by Yuri Andropov’s pupil Putin is widely unacceptable among the Russians, and totally deplorable by the numerous tyrannized non-Russian nations of Mr. Putin’s cemetery. Dozens of millions of Russians and non-Russians have been criminally left unaided by the hypocritical and myopic pseudo-mentors of Democracy in France, England, and the States.
The reason is simple; their plans need a tyrant in Kremlin, Russia as bellicose opponent, and their disastrous interests preserved. And why does Putin preside over an economic boom?
America’s establishment, pursuing the same disastrous Oil policies, creates false Oil prices, although through its control over OPEC, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the other Gulf countries (except Iran) America could have managed to keep Oil prices lower than US $ 30 per barrel. However, political ignorance and immaturity among Neo-cons run so high that the Bush administration seems to have capitulated to the Oil cartel, and thus a bunch of unelected CEOs, all controlled by an apostate Freemasonic lodge, impose on the American Nation a self-disastrous policy that also triggers the most ominous developments for the entire world.
The Kremlin serial killer Putin left uncontained
The Kremlin serial killer Putin is thus left unhindered to calmly achieve his targets through money maliciously offered to him by the US administration. The gangster president participates in the farcical elections to support his – mostly disgusted by the majority of the Russians – thugs and plutocrats, who form the backbone of the gang ‘United Russia’ that deceitfully portrays itself as a political party.
In a brief, pre-recorded television address, Putin pompously said to the exasperated and abandoned Russian democrats and the numerous tyrannized nations of his cemetery: "I ask you to turn out for the elections on Dec. 2 and vote for United Russia", calling to opt for "stability and continuity" rather than the chaos of the 1990s.
In a clear reference to his political opponents from liberal parties, Putin expressed a - typical for a dictator - aberration, saying: "we cannot allow the return to power of those who once tried but failed to rule the country". What he was talking about? Who failed to rule the country? Kasparov? He never ruled Russia. Mikhail Kasyanov? He was Putin’s prime minister before he came to realize how anti-democratic and anti-Russian Putin’s strategic targets have been. Yabloko, and Boris Nemtsov? These have been among the pillars of economic progress made in Russia properly and through politically correct means.
Sarcastically for the trashy political leadership of the West, Putin – the embodiment of all immoral acts and choices – demanded support for his party ….. on moral grounds, stating that a landslide for ‘United Russia’ would give him a "moral right" to influence Russia’s political life after his term ends!
The coarse Kremlin despot had other surprises as well for the impotent dwarfs of the West, the likes of Bush, Blair, Sarkozy, Prodi, and Zapatero. Just two days before the theatrical parliamentary elections, but in an all apparent and illustrious manner, Putin signed a law suspending Russia’s participation in a key post-cold war arms treaty.
Conventional Forces in Europe treaty – suspended by Russia
Following Putin’s last decree, within less than two weeks, Moscow will suspend the Conventional Forces in Europe treaty (CFE). Western military experts believe that this treaty, which was first signed in 1990, is critical in limiting the number of battle tanks, heavy artillery, combat aircraft and attack helicopters deployed and stored between the Atlantic and Russia’s Ural mountains. In addition, it contains a significant array of confidence-building measures, requiring all signatories to give other states advance notice of troop movements and missile launches.
The NATO allies’ reactions testified to the deep lethargy and the absolute confusion into which Western capitals have fallen.
Officials from NATO states said they had to decide when they in their turn would suspend the treaty provisions. What a statement! A senior official from a Nato government said: "From December 12, Russia will not be giving notification of its troop movements or allow external inspections. We will therefore see a gradual degradation in the application of the treaty. By March or April of next year we will have to decide whether we start to suspend the application of the treaty to our own forces". (http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/f4f04818-9f6e-11dc-8031-0000779fd2ac.html).
One temptative interpretation is to see the development in the light of technical misunderstanding and bad communication between Russian and Western negotiators. This approach is truly myopic as it does not help us understand why the Russian negotiators, who were supposed to discuss how to ensure the ratification of a previously negotiated adapted version of the CFE treaty, had made proposals relating to collective ceilings and flank limits that would have required the adapted treaty to be renegotiated!
Useless and irrelevant: Nicholas Burns
The most epigrammatic and revelatory comment was made by Nicholas Burns, the US undersecretary of state for political affairs, who said: "Russia has made a mistake in this unilateral behaviour of walking out of a major arms control treaty in Europe".
This meaningless and tragically erroneous statement demonstrates clearly that learning Arabic is the best guarantee for an American diplomat’s failure. The Russian tyrant did not make any mistake, and it is not up to a failed US diplomat to make statements pertaining to the correct or wrong decision making of another country. Particularly in the case of a country whereby the US administration did not make any effort to effectively promote Democracy and Freedom, American diplomats should keep silent and reassess their sources, info, data, and reflections. Taking into consideration Putin’s dictatorial and imperialistic nature, we can definitely conclude that he acted very well, and according to his plan.
It is the American diplomats who failed to understand that they have been driven to the Land of Dreams by pseudo-theoreticians like Francis Fukuyama; History has not ended, and America’s irreversible failure to set up an endurable unipolar world drives us to a new multipolar world. Quite unfortunately, within the rising multipolar global system, there will be several global tyrannies (Russia, China) that will try to expand socioeconomically and politically by supporting regional tyrannies like Iran, ‘Ethiopia’, Syria, Sudan, Myanmar, Serbia, Belarus, S. Arabia, and others.
America has no option in its foreign policy, someone should have said this to the incredibly mediocre Nicholas Burns. Either America will truly reflect the Ideals and the Principles shared by the Founding Fathers, thus gaining a vast territory in terms of diplomacy and world sympathy among a great number of oppressed peoples and tyrannized nations, or America will contribute to the economic – political rebirth of the remnants of the former Soviet Socialist world.
What America should do to avert a tyrannical regime in Russia
At this point we regroup a few basic thoughts and approaches in a summariizing way:
1. Contrarily to its previous pro-EU position, America should draw the conclusion that EU is to be either dramatically changed or abandoned.
2. America should realize that its worst enemy for more than two centuries has been British and French colonialism; consequently, America should envision closer relationship with Central Europe, Germany and Italy, favor a Mitteleuropa axis prevail over Europe, and help Ukraine and Russia integrate with the Mitteleuropa axis.
3. By all means America should help, strengthen and subsidize democratic Russians and fuel the righteous struggle of Russia’s tyrannized nations for Independence.
4. America should understand that, with high Oil prices, the US interests allover the world will ultimately receive a lethal blow; the only winning parts will be Russia, Iran, Venezuela, and the disreputable house of Islamic Terrorism in Saudi Arabia, and their tiny but dangerous neighbors. The Oil cartel must be put under control or a few companies’ interest will jeopardize the American Nation’s future.
5. It would be essential to assess that American interests impose the rise of a great country at the southern flank of Russia; instead of the ineffective American presence in Afghanistan and Iraq, and instead of a by now impossible nuclear attack against Iran, a Greater Turkey from the Red Sea to the borders of China and India would do the job without generating an anti-Western, anti-American, and anti-Christian hysteria. Incorporating parts of Syria, Iraq and the oil fields of S. Arabia, a greater Turkey would progressively unite with Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kirgizia, while merging with Iranian Azeris, Kurds, Loris, Bakhtiaris, Turkmens and other Turkic peoples. Only a Greater Turkey, gradually evolving to a multilingual, multicultural, democratic and secular Asiatic Union, by including Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, would truly be able to drastically support oppressed Muslims in Russia and China. It would consist in the last line of Western defence if totalitarianism prevailed finally in Russia.
Until next year’s Russian presidential elections many things will become clear; with a disciple of Putin as ‘president’ in Moscow, America will gradually opt for isolationism, and then Russia – more totalitarian and more dangerous than ever – will enforce alliances against Europe, and Israel, putting an end to the existence of the so much hated S. Arabia. But it would be an entirely American mistake.
