Rumors that Snooki is Pregnant Turn Out to be False
There are rumors that Snooki Polizzi is pregnant, and that it was to be a storyline in a new spin-off show, but all the rumors have turned out to be untrue.
Some rumors have been flying around of late that Jersey Shore reality TV start Snooki Polizzi and her boyfriend Jionni LaValle are expecting a child, but a rep for the diminutive brunette has denied that the rumor is true. Taking a step back, the most insane thing about this story is that Snooki has her own representative. That said, there is apparently a very good living to be had in entertaining people in a mindless sort of way these days, a position for which Polizzi is, at least according to the masses (read: least common denominator), uniquely suited.
It seems likely that the rumors were started by representatives for Snooki, since any news about any celebrity is generally considered good news in show business. With former reality TV star Kristin Cavallari having recently confirmed her pregnancy and having received some press, perhaps Snooki’s "handlers" decided it was time for her to get in on the act as well. Noted one source, "She's been telling people that she has a big announcement coming," the source said, also noting that the baby may have been the subject of a planned, upcoming Snooki/JWoww spin-off show.
Apparently, that is not to be the case. Snooki did talk to the press recently though, discussing the show that aired from Italy. Noted Snooki, "I think in Italy it was all drama because we missed home and obviously some people were stirring up unnecessary, fake rumors in the house. So when we get back to Jersey, you're gonna see that pan out more."
