Royal Love - Chapter 9

Prince Ash's P.O.V

"Mother I came to ask you if you know of a vampire name Thana Elizabeth Blood my highness," I asked my mother in respect.

"Ah Yes Thana I do. She just woke this year, poor child her parents left her to fend for herself," my mother said but didn't sound one bit worried about Thana.

"My queen, what happened to her parents," I asked wanting to know more about her.

"She really didn't say when she came to me to be known that she woke and no longer sleeping, but she did say they were murdered," my mother says slightly smiling on the word murdered.

"Did she say how or where," I asked.

"No, my son, why are you asking me these questions, she isn't even pretty, my son you could do so much better than her," my mother said in the most chilling voice.

"Mother I have no interest in her, I just ended up sharing a school with the girl," I told her, but I really don't get why I didn't tell my mother what happened in the girl's restroom, I just got the feeling I couldn't let Thana get hurt... Which by the way bothered the hell out of me.

"Would you like me to send someone to kill her so you wont have to see her," my mother said with what looked like a eager smile

"No mother that's not necessary, I was just a bit curious in her, May I look at the Kingdom's birth records my highness." I asked in a bored tone, not showing how really curious I am about finding out who Thana really is.

"Do what you will son but this conversion is over I'm getting quite bored, would you be staying for dinner, we just got a hold of new humans... Fresh if I must say," My mother asked, looking to the door to see one of our vampire guards coming in with at least five human girls.

"No your highness." I said trying to not let my mother know I wanted to hurry and look at those birth records. She just demised me with a wave of her hand and I bowed then turned around and walked out of her throne room before the screams started and made my way towards the birth records hall.

I got to the hall of birth records in a hurry and I start to look around there were so many books on so many vampires I didn't know where to start. I started to look at the books that started with the letter B for Thana last name which was Blood but seen nothing.. No one with that last name. I grew more curious so I went farther into the hall just looking at the pictures of the vampire family that hang up above the books.

As I got to the D's, there was still no one that looked filmier. I came across a family picture the Dracula's, our maker. The picture was of Dracula, his wife and daughter. I had to look closer because the girl in the picture looked kind of familiar. Could it be... No oh hell no it couldn't be... But it's too close to deny. I had to look even closer and when I did my eyes widen The daughter of Vlad Dracula was Thana.

I couldn't help but think it couldn't be because Dracula's daughters name was Ambrosia bloodline Dracula, I opened the book to prove that to myself because my mind and myself were arguing with each other, I was just about to read something that was written under the picture, when all of a sudden something falls to the floor. I put the book back not caring anymore to read it, I bend down to pick up the picture that fell from it and could help but widen my eyes at what I show.
