Rocking Back and Forth, I Noticed My Head Turning But It Was Too Late to Turn Back Around

The corruption of love.
Slow kisses; tender hearts,
Multiple choices, one true love
Fresh and new,
Like a new batch of baked brown bread.

Oh, silly thoughts,
Chase each other away.
As if love is so simple,
Simple is sweet.

Also, a figment of my imagination,
Sweet as apple pie.....
But love?
Love is sour like a week-old jellybean

Left out in the sun too long.
Like a car wreck-sudden and terrifying
Eventful but deathly.
Killer but lovely.
