Robin Hood Ellis Declares Solidarity with Chavez
Tired of opinions about Macon's Mayor C. Jack Ellis from outside the Central Georgia area? The following is a letter drafted to the Macon Telegraph following C.Jack Hakim Mansour Ellis' recent declaration of solidarity to Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. I work in Macon, GA...this is a local issue for me...let me know your opinion.
Recently, Macon's Mayor C. Jack Ellis, aka Hakim Mansour Ellis, nka Robin Hood Ellis declared Solidarity with Hugo Chavez in a letter to the Mayors of Venezuela. Apparently the letter was sent by Ellis to praise Hugo Chavez for aiding poor cities in the United States with gifts of Oil, and possibly to ask for support here in Macon from similar "charity" from the "Populist" leader of Venezuela. The story broke locally in the Macon Telegraph on the 10th of August, when Matt Barnwell wrapped up the events in an article that sent shockwaves throughout Macon. Hugo Chavez made note of the Macon Mayor's Solidarity in an Eight hour lesson in egocentrism back on August 6th, 2007, as he addressed his country on the evils of US Imperialism and the forward looking nature of his Bolivarian Revolution. As Matt noted, Hugo Chavez had recently spoken at the UN, calling our President Bush "Satan", remarking on the fact that he could still smell the sulfur...(because as everyone knows, Satan lives in a Sulfur Mine). Even Neal Boortz had a soundbite or two for the Mayor and Maconites as he shook his head and wrung his hair over the idea that a United States Mayor would make his City's citizens the laughingstock of the world.
The fact that Macon's Mayor C. Jack Ellis claimed Solidarity with Hugo Chavez' efforts is a very telling key to understanding the problems the Country is having, while coming to grips with "Populist" leaders like Hugo Chavez, Ahmadinejad, and Kim Jong Il...should we include Hillary Clinton in the list? It is also a necessary step in the process of coming to grips with the concepts of Fascism, Nationalism, Imperialism, Capitalism, Socialism, and Islam. Why Islam, one might ask? Precisely because C. Jack Ellis is in the process of legally changing his name to Hakim Mansour Ellis following his conversion to Islam. In order to go forward with our understanding of the situation in Macon's City Hall in which they are attempting to block funds for the Mayor to travel to Venezuela, it is necessary to understand that Ellis has been Jet Setting around the world, particularly to African Nations (Where he is currently - no doubt researching how we can send zippers to Africa in exchange for our Macon City parking tickets to be processed in unbuilt centers in major areas of poverty) attempting to build bridges between the United States and the Poor Areas of the World.
This afternoon, I took a leisurely drive to the Macon City Hall, where I ran into Jonathan Serrie of Fox News and Jacqueline Asztalos of the local Fox 24 News. What was apparent as they dug for a story in the one or two passersby, was that virtually every Maconite was Against the Mayor's Statement of Solidarity. Their cameras were sitting idly beneath the shade as they sought "balance" to their efforts...that is to say, they were waiting to finish their stories until they found someone who supported Ellis' statement. I suggested to them that the real story was in the fact that everyone they spoke to abhorred the Mayor's proclamation of Solidarity with Hugo Chavez. I also showed them how convenient it was that the Tenth Anniversary Edition of the International Socialist Review had as its cover story Hugo Chavez' "New Socialism" and Bolivarian Revolution.
They all took the knowledge in, but obviously, I did not know how to gain a story, since I was not seeking balance. So here goes, this is the balance - Every United States Citizen is Free, they have the Freedom to speak their mind and offer their opinions. We are not a Police state, and we do not have thought controls that keep people from learning the true nature of the world. We, as American Citizens, regardless of our position or rank in whatever organization we are in, have the Freedom of Speech. Therefore, the Macon Mayor has the Freedom to offer his opinions whenever and wherever and in whatever form or format he wishes. There it is, balance. I agree that the Macon Mayor Jack Ellis has the right to say or write whatever he believes. I will never seek to abrogate this right. However, we as American Citizens also have the right to speak our minds, we as Macon Citizens also have the right to rebuke, rebuff and criticize the statements that are made by our elected officials, since they represent our Voice on the local, state, national, and international sphere, if not in policy, at least in perception. The question is, would you allow a teacher who taught that 4 plus 4 equals 12 to continue teaching Mathematics to your child? It is doubtful. Therefore, in the spirit of correction, allow me to say to the teacher, 4 plus 4 equals 8. And in the same vein allow me to continue on to our Mayor C. Jack Ellis, Hakim Mansour Ellis, by renaming him in the International Sphere as "Robin Hood Ellis".
Why Robin Hood? Robin Hood is considered a folk hero of legend who stole from the rich to give to the poor. He returned from the crusades and saw poverty caused by taxation and he surmised it was his righteous duty to steal from the rich to give to the poor in order to rectify the injustice. Is this not exactly what the Mayor of Macon is claiming solidarity to - this concept of Righteous Theft in the name of the Poor? For did he not claim solidarity to Chavez for his activities of giving Free Oil to the Poor Cities of America? And did Chavez not steal the oil, that he gave away, from Western (American and British) Companies that had contractual right to the land and minerals? Did Hugo Chavez, on May 1st, 2007 not take his army and "Nationalize" the equipment and proceeds of Oil from companies with Contracts of Ownership to the Rights of the Land? Was this Nationalization of Hugo Chavez not a Theft? If it wasn't a theft, why did he need the Army to assume control? Hugo Chavez suffers from "Robinhoodism" - the belief that stealing is justified so long as it is for the purpose of redistribution. This same Robinhoodism is rampant in the liberal concepts of welfare, the socialist concept of egalitarianism, and the Fascist concept of National Socialism.
America was built on Capitalism. Capitalism is the creation of Wealth through invention, merit and lawful trade. Capitalism's primary tenet is "Thou Shalt Not Steal". This is echoed in the fact that Property Law exists. Law and Order as America knows it is one in which property is possible for all, and the theft of property is considerred a crime. Would the Federal Government pardon someone who robbed a bank so that he could distribute the money to his friends that had their home foreclosed by that bank? No, the law is the law - theft is a crime. Yet, no one even bats an eye when Chavez steals from the Oil Companies because they have been inundated with the Robin Hood Righteousness syndrome for most of their lives. It is the ultimate in Self-Sacrifice for the Common Good that every single Democrat is poising to push when they seek to Nationalize the Medical Industry after Hillary Clinton gets elected in 2008. But realize that Nationalism is the ultimate in MONOPOLY - State control of an Industry, it is the ultimate in competition's destruction since it establishes the government as the only supplier.
Now, if Americans would look through the (July-August) International Socialist Review with Hugo Chavez on the cover, it would recognize a common theme - US Imperial Oppression. Hugo Chavez' hatred of the American system is based on the belief that the United States is an Imperialist Country. But what is Imperialism? Did we not fight a Revolutionary War to stop the Imperial (Colonial) Design of England back in the 1770s? Did Teddy Roosevelt not fight Imperial Spain in the Spanish American War? Did we not fight the Fascist, Imperial Designs of Germany in World War 1, and World War 2? Was the NAZI party not the National Socialist Party? Was it not Imperialist Japan that we eventually atomic bombed in WW2? Are we not in the middle of fighting IslamoFascism?
Here's the thing, Imperialism is the establishment of an Empire by force through a Colonial system, in which the people of the colonies are subject to the dictates of the Empire. Doesn't every Dictator of the world get coined a "Populist" simply because they want to move away from US Imperialism? Ahmadinejad of Iran and Chavez of Venezuela both declare that it is the US Colonialist Push that is causing their problems - but...when was the last time the United States had a Colony? This charge is EMPTY RHETORIC...it is an excuse for Robin Hood to Rise. Until the United States examines the charges of Marxists and Islamists that the US is Imperialist, we will always be contending with upstart dictators and the world will never be free.
Realize, everyone has a natural jealousy of wealth...but it is necessary to understand that prosperity is only possible in a world where property is protected by law, theft is prosecuted by law, where speech and thought are protected by law. Does this concept wash with the Shariah Law system of Islam, which C. Jack, Hakim Mansour, Robin Hood Ellis has converted to? Did they not recently stone a woman to death in Iran for committing adultery as a result of Shariah Law? Do they not still turn a blind eye to pedophelia and polygamy in Islamic Shariah controlled districts? Islam's root is in the persecution that Muhammad and his band of followers experienced in Mecca for twelve or thirteen years. Finally escaping the persecution to Medina in the Hegira, Muhammad was a PseudoKing to the bickering Medinites. The Islamic Calendar marks the Flight from Mecca as the start of the Islamic Community. But, realize that after word was received from Mecca that Muhammad's possessions were stolen by looters of Mecca, he made the decision (or Allah made the decision) that Raiding Caravans was necessary to take back what was stolen from them...therefore, Allah provided the Righteousness of Theft in a divine Suras and every single "Convert, pay alms, or die" message of intolerance in the Koran circle the concept of this Righteous Theft... In full, Islam, then, is built on this Robinhoodism concept...albeit it is in an "Eye for an Eye" frame. The Moderate Muslims of today reject the intolerance (supposedly) of the Koran's interpreters, yet this core belief in Righteousness of Theft is at the center of its Concept of Justice.
In full, however, it is imperative to note that Righteousness is not Justice. It has nothing to do with Justice. Righteousness is the seed of Revenge...the seed of Stealing from the Rich to give to the poor...the seed of Greed and Jealousy. So, in full, it is not only natural to expect Mayor C. Jack Ellis to claim Solidarity with Chavez...since Robin Hood is the concept of Morality and Righteousness that both of them espouse...the only question, paricularly in note of his Recent Middle Eastern Tour, is when will Hugo Chavez declare to the World his own conversion to Islam? Because, let's face it...the only reason anyone in the world cares about C. Jack Ellis is because he recently converted to Islam...perhaps Hugo Chavez recognizes this cue...and that is why he invited the Mayor to Venezuela for a sit down. Whether Hugo Chavez converts to Islam is of no import, however...his concept of Co-Ops is slowly taking over the Venezuelan economy - the steel industry is now in his sights...and while calling the United States Imperialists, Chavez is calmly creating colonies of supporters in Argentina, Brazil, Ecquador...and it would not be surprising if Cuba was annexed to Venezuela as a state by a Chavez decree in the next few years, especially if Castro falls to illness.
What is important is that the city of Macon, the state of Georgia, and the United States begin to recognize that its enemies are calling it Imperialist. The reason anti-Americanism is so rampant, in fact, within the ranks of US Citizens is because our educational system and news agencies do not clarify the difference between capitalism and imperialism, the difference between fascism and communism, the difference between Islamic Sharia and JudeoChristian values. Perhaps this concept of Robinhoodism will help.
Regardless, I for one, will call C.Jack Ellis "Robin Hood Ellis" for his solidarity with Hugo Chavez.
