Road to Confession

It happened so fast
Like a huge blast
I don't when or where it started
Or how soon it accumulated

Confession is not an easy task
Neither are feelings easy to mask
These words are simple to say
Yet, I'm so scared to convey

Considering the possible outcome
I find myself feeling numb
Feeling so confused
I fear for my heart again being bruised

My feeling are pushing me inside
It's hard to decide
For I don't want to push you away
I want you to stay

Nevertheless I must confess
For its causing me so much stress
Can't keep it a secret anymore
My feelings I can't ignore

Every time I see your face
My heart starts to race
It's filled with this great emotion
Large as the ocean

Whenever I hear your name
In my heart starts a flame
Burning of passion
Remembering your compassion

This twisted road of confession
Has now become an obsession
Therefore, I must say I love you
With all my heart I truly do
