Rising of the Moon

This is just a test post, to see if anyone will like the story. I will see if I'll continue posting it. Comments and suggestions will be appreciated. : )
- The year after -

The two moons of Leera were bathing the surrounding with its silvery light. Their light was spilling over the grass planes, mountain tops and ocean cliffs. One single flower arose from the ground under the tree where Leana was sitting. Bright silver rays of the older moon was cutting its way through the tree branches, lighting Leanas pale skin, making it look silver-like. Her gaze, previously fixed on the single star visible in the moonlight, turned to the flower. Its sent surrounded her. She closed her eyes breathing it in. It was magical. The moon flower, that was the name of the plant. Tears started sliding down her face. Memories flooded her mind.

It was the day of the two fool moons, just like this night. The most important holiday in Leera. All the Leerans celebrated it since it was the only time in the year when two moons were seen together. On that night, the moon flower would appear in the moonlight and spreading its scent, giving the energy to Leerans to survive another year. They depended on the scent that the moon flower was providing them. They were the moon people or the wolf nation, as called otherwise, for their special bond with the wolves. The sun Leerans hated them and were in constant war. That night was the night when her village was destroyed.

-"Leana!" she remembered her sister calling out. "Come, join us!"
She couldn't forgive herself for not doing so. Instead, she only smiled back and went to her secret hideout only to find the most horrible scene the next morning.

Leana opened her eyes hopping she'd stop seeing the scene, but she couldn't fight away the sight of her mothers eyes opened in horror, her sister gripping the doll with cold hands, her father holding the sword he made the previous day. It looked incredible that anyone could defeat her blacksmith father. Head taller then anyone in the village, he was the strongest man that she'd seen. His hair was the color of the honey and his smile would bright up the day. Her mothers voice was like one of the nightingale. She had the most beautiful voice in the village and she was able to calm down even the most angry man. Everyone in the town said that Leana inherited both her mothers voice and grace, as well as her fathers courage and spirit. But she was now broken from inside. Her heart was shattered to pieces. She was the only survivor of the moon village. Wolves were the one who helped her survive. Ruth, the silvery back wolf, sat down behind her. She had the ability of speaking to them through the thoughts and feelings. They respected her and made her the part of their pack. She felt her friends scent, for the wind was blowing in her direction. A year passed, and she knew nothing of the reason why the moon village was destroyed. It was the only moon village left in the sun nation realm. But they let them live in peace until that night.
She stood up and turned to wolf.

-"You know I want to be alone." she sent him her thoughts. He looked at her with curious eyes. Then he turned around and walked away. That's what she loved about wolves. They never questioned her and they were always there for her. She walked slowly through the moonlight bathed plane and her hands were gripping the gift her father gave her for the moon day. He found a way of trapping the flowers scent inside of the necklace that gave out the scent. It made her able to travel long distances and visit lands where moonflower wasn't growing. But she couldn't leave her homeland. She refused to. She passed the remaining of her village, the graves that she dig herself with a help from the wolves. Her hands still felt dirty from month of digging. But it was over now. She was still alive. But she felt completely dead from inside. Her footsteps led her to her hideout. Slowly, she was walking towards the waterfall...
