RIP Tattoos on Wrist

This article is for all those people who need some knowledge related to RIP tattoos on the wrists, and want to know some meaning behind such tattoos.
To begin with, personally I have two tattoos designed on my body, one on my right arm, and the other one on my left, and I would love to say that one of them has a deep meaning as to why I got it done. A very unusual incident took place in my life, where I had no clue as to what I was doing and didn't know how to tackle the situation at that very moment. However, my belief in 'Lord Shiva' helped me scrape through it, and almost saved my life. When I met my friends, and conveyed the story to them, they really found it to be very fascinating, and interesting, and it was my 22nd birthday, they gifted me an appointment letter from a tattoo artist who was ready with the portrait of 'Lord Shiva' which is now permanently inked on my right arm, and is a very special one also, not only because of the incident which saved my life, but also because it's my 22nd birthday gift, given to me by some special people in my life.

What are RIP Tattoos on the Wrist?

Wearing a tattoo on the body is one of the most wonderful things to do, and especially if a tattoo has some story or a hidden fact behind its existence, then it is considered to be a very special one. RIP tattoos are also known as Rest In Peace tattoos, or Meaningful tattoos. This is because such tattoos are inked on a person's body in loving memory of a special someone or a special incident which has taken place in someone's life, and holds a very deep and an important meaning. RIP tattoos on the wrists are considered to be very powerful tattoos as they are very easily visible, and it also pains a lot while getting the tattoo done. These tattoos are made in memory of the people who have passed away, and have been very special to the one who gets the tattoo done. The person seeking a tattoo in this style will think long and hard about the person they lost, and often tries to come up with some wrist tattoo designs or a portrait to represent them.

Types of Tattoos

Name Tattoos: Name tattoos on the wrist are the most basic RIP wrist tattoos one can wear, and this is because the wrist is not a part of the body where huge designs can be made. It is always good to be attached emotionally with someone's memory, and tattooing the name of the person who was someone special is a unique way to keep in touch with his or her memories. Tattoo is always in front of the eyes, and special people can always be remembered in this way.

Date Tattoos: These tattoos have become very common amongst Americans, especially after the 9/11 terrorist attack which took away the lives of a lot of innocent people in the States. In order to remember all the special beloved people, date tattoos have become the source. A date plays a very important role in a person's life. People have a lot of special occasions and days which they would never want to forget, and remember throughout their life, so a date tattoo is the best way to go about it.

Religious Tattoos: These tattoos reflect the spiritual nature of a person. This includes portrait of a particular god or a symbol which promotes a particular religion. Christ's cross is one of the best examples of religious tattoos, The Buddha portrait is a very common religious tattoo amongst Asians.

Portrait Tattoos: These tattoos are very painful and have a lot of creativity involved in it. Making a portrait of someone on the skin is not an easy thing to do. A lot of professionalism is involved in it, and the person on whom it is being done has to be sure about how it is supposed to look, as the main objective behind the tattoo should be achieved. Wrist is not a place where a lot of detailing can be done, so it becomes very important for the artist to be creative.

Basic RIP Tattoos: This is the most common RIP tattoo people wear. Rest In Peace is what RIP stands for, and this is the only thing tattooed on the wrist at times. However, some prefer it with a cross, while some like it with an angel.

For all those who are still considering a RIP tattoo on the wrist, I would like to advice you to go in for a tattoo which has some good meaning or has some relevance to a special person in their life. It is not always about how the tattoo looks, it is more about what the tattoo means, and the reason behind it should always be clear.
