Most people generally take right shoulder pain less seriously than pain in the left shoulder. This is because pain in the left shoulder may often indicate signs of a heart attack. Pain in any part of the body indicates some kinds of malfunctions and it is a signal for the affected person to initiate a hasty treatment; depending upon the intensity of the pain. The shoulder joint comprises of complex structural makeup. Due to the complex movements, the shoulder becomes vulnerable to sprains, strains, tears and inflammation of the capsules, muscles, ligaments and bursa.

Pain in right shoulder blade has gallbladder disease or gallstones as its common cause. The affected person may feel the pain as a knotted muscle, and it may be mild or severe.   • Shoulder pain accompanied by fever, redness or warmth and other unusual symptoms
Treatment for right shoulder pain or even left shoulder pain, may include non-surgical or surgical procedures. After the causes have been identified, your doctor may discuss the possible methods that may be appropriate for the treatment. Medications and recommended exercises for shoulder pain shall be included under a non-surgical treatment. For surgical treatment, procedures may be followed, to directly treat the underlying causes that manifest themselves through the shoulder pain.

Of course it is not necessary that, if you have a right shoulder pain, it signifies that you may be suffering from a nasty disease. In most cases, the pain is caused due to mild causes which have been listed above. However, assumption is not what is expected after experiencing such kind of a pain in the shoulders. One should seek a doctor's advice immediately; you never know how serious it is but the doctors do!
