Reportedly Sambora was very supportive to Locklear during her four-week stay at an undisclosed facility in Arizona. A source said that he called her every day that she was there dealing with depression and anxiety. It has also been reported that Locklear was also treated for a dependency on prescription medication. She reportedly told people at the clinic that she felt the need to "be perfect, always beautiful" and that she felt as if "the world was closing in on her" before she entered the facility.
Locklear checked out of the facility this week after a four-week stint. She reportedly enjoyed a lot of quality alone time, spent time riding horses, and enjoyed therapeutic spa treatments. A source at the facility said that Locklear, 46, "couldn’t have been warmer or more approachable. There was no diva behavior." The source added that she was "totally genuine, down to earth and warm."
In March it was rumored that Locklear had tried to commit suicide, it was later determined to be a false rumor, but she decided to seek treatment shortly after that. Locklear divorced Sambora, the guitarist for Bon Jovi, last year after almost 13 years of marriage. The couple has a 10-year old daughter, Ava. She was also previously married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee for seven years. Locklear is currently dating her Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner who was a big supporter of hers while she was in treatment. A source close to Locklear said that she was most excited about getting back to her daughter, Ava.
