If you are still confused about the evanescence of ever lasting love, think again. The world around you is moving at a fast pace and you need to match up, in order to survive. A poem for those perplexed souls believing in true love or otherwise. Read on...
Rich Love or Poor Love
Love is all but not for free,
Like dreaming of stars in the sky above.
Not falling in the pit on a thinking spree,
Rich love or poor love.

Never been in a merc, or pulled the string,
For a late nite date in a seven star.
To hire a sinfonietta, and make her sing,
And get her high in an expensive bar.

Instead you ride a cheaper bike,
with money just to refill its tank.
And wish she could just think alike,
Regarding your savings in the bank.

Those cellphone bills, piled up in trash,
The everlasting demand of expensive gifts.
Damn there should be some more cash,
In order to avoid the frequent rifts.

You see the couples, hand in hand,
Taking a stroll in the mid-day hour.
You notice those shades, car keys in a band,
Heck! You have money for just one flower.

Those love filled lines and quotes were crap,
Loud enough you try to scream.
There is nothing like a lasting frap,
Which can bind the souls, not their dreams.

Now probably the new love vanishes,
in the thin air of profound mentations.
All what left is all one misses,
that age old love which defined addictions.
