The Seat Cushion by Tempur-Pedic is 16 x 16 x 2 inches in size and costs about $90. It is designed to absorb and distribute one's weight evenly over its surface, allowing one to sit comfortably for an extended period of time.

The cushion is constructed from high density Tempur/memory foam material which is protected by a durable zippered blue colored covering. The cover can be washed and dried in a machine, but the pillow itself needs to be spot cleaned with a mild soap in order to avoid damaging the properties of the cushion.

Since the Tempur material is temperature and weight sensitive, it conforms to the shape of your bottom, resulting in an ideally comfortable sitting surface. If you sit for much of the day, the cushion can provide improved comfort, even if the chair you already sit in is cushioned.

The memory foam will be effective in lowering possible pressure points that you may experience. In other words, the Seat Cushion will likely give you the opportunity to be more productive at work by being less distracted by seat discomfort.

The cushion can also be effective at home or in the car. If you have to spend substantial time in the car, the cushion can help to make the trip more comfortable, especially if you do not already find your car's seat to be to your liking.

The durability of the cushion will likely be as good as virtually any other cushion type available. In other words, you should expect to get perhaps a couple of quality years out of the cushion with regular use.

Some people may find that the cushion gets warm, since Temper material can act as a heat trap by absorbing a person's body heat. However, given the fairly small surface area of the cushion, this problem would likely be minimized.
