Review of Rest Secure Restwarmer Dual Control Mattress Pad

I discuss the features of the Rest Secure Restwarmer Dual Control Mattress Pad as well as its major pros and cons.
In an intelligent alternative to electric blankets, the Rest Secure Restwarmer mattress pad creates heat below a sleeper's body through zoned heating for customizable comfort and warmth.

The pad fits properly on standard depth mattresses up to twelve inches in thickness. It also features cushioning on top that does not allow the sleeper from detecting the wires that run through the pad. Dual controls allow two people to adjust the warmth of their sides of the bed to their own specific preference. In addition, the zone design generates warmth around the torso and even produces extra heat at the feet area.

The Rest Secure product employs a 100% poly fiber fabric (referred to as "Fiber-Woven") to protect the mattress and to allow long-lasting enjoyment of the product. The pad also features a ten-hour auto shut-off device for safety. In regard to caring for the Rest Secure, the piece is machine-washable and dryable. It comes with a 5-year warranty and is available in full, queen, king, and California king sizes.

Owners like how the Rest Secure power box is located on the side, instead of the top, which is the case with the Sunbeam brand pad. Owners also like the controls in that they are easier to operate in the middle of the night largely because they feature two buttons with five levels, as opposed to Sunbeam's rotational knob with ten levels.

Some complaints have to do with how the mattress pad barely fits a basic queen sized mattress of very normal height. Most queen-sized mattresses on the market currently have padding on top that can extend the height of the mattress to as much as 15 inches. The Rest Secure, however, will only succeed in covering the top of a deeper mattress, and without a way to secure it in place it will release from the corners and not fit properly after some tossing and turning by the sleeper. Nevertheless, the product should work well on thinner, basic mattresses.
