Revenge - Chapter 4

The sky was almost pitch black and the ground was moist with rain. Silence was all there was other than the sound of my boots walking into the soaked leaves and grass. There were trees but I could barely see them. I kept walking deeper into the forest of Brazil. Me and my team were sent hear on a special mission to kill those blood sucking creatures that killed my parents. Xavier. When I find him, I will drive a stake through his heart and out. I had two goals in my life. One is to kill Xavier. The other one is to find my brother who's been missing for almost 5 years now.

After Xavier left, I buried my parents in the backyard and told Niki to go home. She went without saying a word. Then I went straight to my brother's friends house and saw him and his parents lying on the floor dead but my brother was nowhere to be seen. That was the worst moment in my life. Both my parents had just been killed and my brother was nowhere to be found. I wanted so much to kill myself. No. I had to stay strong and avenge my parents deaths then find my brother. Finding nothing in the house, I walked outside to find a group of five people all dressed in black with smiles on their faces.

"Hi, I'm Madeline." A beautiful girl with blond and brown eyes that were dark enough to be black. "You must be feeling very sad , and mad and unhappy, and regretful, and confused, and.."
"Ok Madeline. I think she gets it." A handsome boy with black hair and piercing blue eyes that looked to be about 16 or 17 said.
"Whatever Macon." Madeline turned to me and said, "As I was saying, you probably are very confused right now but we're here to help you. Don't be scared." She said taking a step towards me.
"Who are you people?"
A girl with short black hair and gold eyes stepped forward and said, "I'm Nina. We've all been thorough what you just had been through. All of us have on purpose and one porous only. We're vampire hunters. We kill what just killed your family."

A guy with black spiky hair and blue eyes said, "My name's Morgan. And that's Randy." Morgan said pointing to a guy with blond hair and brown ayes behind him. Randy smiled and said, "You can either join us and help us eliminate those blood suckers for good, or stay here with no parents or family. Your choice."
"Ok, I'm in. But will you guys teach me how to kill them cause I really don't know how to fight.
"We'll teach you everything you need to know." Nina said with a huge smile on her face.

I brushed away all my past memories. They were too painful to think about. I kept walking and heard a twig crack from behind me and turned around to find Xavier standing a foot away from me. There was sorrow and regret in his eyes.

"I have been searching for you for five years now and today you just give yourself to me?"

"I didn't give myself to you. I came here to give you what you wanted." He explained.

I bent down a little so I could get the stake that was in my boot. Is he really just gonna let me kill him. No. He'll probably kill me himself.

"If I wanted to kill you, then I would have already done it. I'm sorry about what happened to your family. And if there's anyway I.."

"You shut your mouth." I said while pointing the stake at his heart. He stared down at where it was pointed to.

"Do it."

"Don't tell me what to do."
I pushed the stake harder in his chest until I saw red liquid come out of the wound I had just made.

"Oh my god. Are you ok. I didn't mean."
He grabbed me softly be the shoulders and said, "Ashley, it's ok. You didn't hurt me. I'm fine. See."

I was so confused. I didn't know what was wrong with me.
Why did I care so much for him. He was the one that killed my family. The one I had to kill. And yet, I'm concerned about him. We were just about an inch away. I stared at his lips. God, they looked so kissable. Just then, he leaned in and touched my lips to his. My hands found, that was to his neck. He deepened the kiss by making it more passionate. He teased my lips with his tongue. Finally, we pulled away.

"I love you Ashley. I always will." And with that he vanished.

Claudia - Huh. I don't know why you can't find it. I'm sure I posted it. Ashley has blond hair with extensions. She has blue eyes. (I think.)
