Resolution Time

Every day is New Year's Day and every moment a new beginning. Lets stop looking for excuses and live in the glory of each second awarded to a blessed life. It is never to late to turn around and correct...
Need a day each year to shed light,
Upon the deeds so willfully sown?
Need the dark, midnight hour blight,
To weigh weeds or blossoms grown?

Think, ponder but a fleeting while,
On the road tread and that awaiting;
It isn't much to cross lee and stile,
As time and life hound a-baiting.

Every day dawns New Year's day,
Every moment a fresh commune;
Add meaning to your life and pray,
As the ivy and shrubbery you prune.

It takes but a moment, it takes will,
For you to stop in track and view;
There is much to do and cover still,
As you infuse life with fresh brew.

Walk in the light of all you learn,
Reflect on every word and deed;
Work towards change, richly earn,
The shade of the blossoming seed.

It's better late than never you know,
Now's the chance to get up, to mime;
And span the grid of life all a-glow,
In the knowledge of resolution time.
