Rescue Forever - Chapter Two
2nd part of the Thrill Seeking Rescuer.
Chapter Two, Koko
I started to come round as Tom came up the stair. As soon as I saw him he sprinted for me, as I tried to get up he pushed me gently back down again. "What happened Koko, does anything hurt other than the back of your head?" he asked shaking me for an answer.
I looked up at him confused for a little bit with his silhouette somewhat blurry, I shook my head slightly then I realized that wasn’t a good idea. "Only my neck, I know it’s not broken it’s just where they strangled me. Did you see them get away?" he shook his head.
I was feeling stupid by now, of course they would have gotten away how foolish of me. "Let me have a look at your neck then" he replied. I showed him my neck. "Ouch that looks nasty. You’ve got a considerably large bruise where they’ve strangled you", he got up and got the medical kit, he unzipped it quickly and grabbed a big ice pack and placed it round my heavily bruised neck. Then he grabbed a bandage, "Koko sit up slowly for me." I started getting up gradually, feeling dizzy and disoriented.
"Wait, I feel dizzy!" I exclaimed, he held my back and slowly dragged me towards the edge of the desk and leaned me against it, he seized my arm and started putting the drip in my arm to rehydrate me. Then all of a sudden someone came out from behind my desk and flew down the stairs "Get after them, don’t let them get away." I said, Tom spun round and took off like a firecracker down the stairs after them.
