at school today
I am dead scared
What would my teacher say
I brushed my teeth well
Dressed up neat
Braided my hair tight
So that I could look sweet
When I entered the class
I could feel the heat
My teacher sat right in between
Holding a long mark sheet
As I waited for my turn
I bit my nails till its end
"How would mom react?
and how would I defend?"
It was our turn finally
I was too nervous to smile
My teacher spoke to mother
and handed over my file
What happened next
was something I had never expect
Mom hugged me tight and said
I got ‘A’ grade in all subject
