Renewal, Chapter 17

Sorry I took so long in posting. Didn't have access to a computer all summer, and once I did, I didn't have time to write because of school. Hope all my fans will come back and read all about Ally again!
"Oh hi sweetie, Hayden. When did you get here?" My mom asks, looking up from her book she was reading.

"I hope you don't mind that I spent the night last night with Jessica. It was really late once I realized what time it was, and I knew my parents wouldn't like it if I woke them up so late." Hayden says walking towards the kitchen. Of course, wakes up and automatically needs food.

"Oh no that's fine. You can stay anytime you want." She says, following him into the kitchen. Yup, she was going to make him some food. She always did when he stayed. Dad didn't even say anything, typical for him. Not wanting to just stand there awkwardly, I follow mom and Hayden into the kitchen. But Hayden wasn't there. Must have gone to the bathroom. Maybe this was the time I should tell my mom what happened last night.

"Mom can I talk to you?" I ask.
"Ally, I'm your mother. Of course you can talk to me. What's wrong?" She puts down what she was doing. Oh boy, she only does that when REALLY concerned.
"Last night, when Hayden stayed here, well..." I couldn't say it. I couldn't tell my mother we had sex. I just couldn't.
"Did you two have sex?" She asks, really concerned now.

"Yes. Please don't get mad! We used a condom, and I'm on the pill." I was shaking because I was so nervous. I didn't know how she would react to it. I was extremely scared.

"I'm a little upset that you did, but it's you. You were curious, and made the decision yourself. At least you were careful and used protection." Not what I expected. I expected her to flip out at me. I remember her telling me a story about when she let her mom know that her and my dad had sex, and her mom banned them from seeing each other for a long time. I was hoping that mom wouldn't do that to me though. I see Hayden after school almost every day, and some weekends. Not seeing him those days would really get to me.

"So you're not mad?" If she says no, I swear I will jump up and hug her.
"No sweetie, I'm not mad. I'm happy you at least told me, and didn't hide it like, I did from my mother. Honesty is what I love from you. I know you won't lie to me or keep anything from me." She wraps me into a hug, kissing my forehead. Hayden walks in at that moment, and stops in his tracks.

"What did I miss?" He asks, walking to me and wrapping his arms around my waist.
"I told mom that we did it." I feel his body stiffen against me. "Baby it's ok. She's not mad at us."
"OH phew. I thought she would be." He relaxes, going back to himself.

"I'm not mad Hayden. Here's your eggs." She slides a plate to him, then just leaves. He automatically starts wolfing them down, hungry as ever, which didn't surprise me any. He eats all the time.

"So that's why your aura is shining almost pure white this morning." I groan to myself. Alex.
"Now, what do you want?" I mutter back to him.
"Nothing, I was just wondering why I got woken up by you last night, but I didn't bother 'snooping around'. I was too tired." He says.
"Oh my God! I woke you up?" I did not want him knowing. I just met him! Now he knows I had sex!

"Duh. You projected your happiness like a missal. I wouldn't be surprised if it woke your grandmother up. Don't be embarrassed though. I'm used to it, with my older brother and his girlfriends coming over all the time." He just laughs. So I wouldn't be laughing if I was woken up by my sister while she was having sex.

"Oh shush. I'll talk to you later once Hayden leaves. Kinda hard for me to talk to you while trying to talk with him." I automatically put up the brick wall up, preventing him from entering my mind again. I finally had mastered it, so know I could have my peace, finally. Buzz buzz buzz.

"Oh my God, do they ever leave me alone?" I mutter to myself, getting my phone out of my pocket.

Hayden looks up, "What?" He asks, confused.

"Nothing, just my phone. I got a text message from Cassey." He shrugs and goes back to his food. Cassey was one of my, "Friends." I wasn't exactly close to her, but she was always hanging out around Krystal, so I talked to her. She was one person that I didn't really like. She had a mean streak and could be a... bitch. Plus she always complained. She considered me a friend though, so I would talk to her if I had to.

"Hey girl, what's going on?" Oh did she really just text me.
Conversation between us.
Me: "Nothing. Just hanging with Hayden."
Cassey: "He's over this early? Dang you guys hang a lot."
Me: "He spent the night, that's why he's here so early. His parent's would have gotten mad if he came home late, so he just stayed here."
Cassey: "Did you guys do it?"
Me: "Do what?"
Cassey: "You know, 'it'."
Me: "You mean have sex?"
Cassey: "Duh! What else would I be talking about, you idiot." (see, bitch)
Me: "No! Why would we?"
Cassey: "Oh I know you! You did have sex! I know it!"
Me: "Cassey just shut up! I don't see why it matters."
Cassey: "It doesn't, I was just curious haha."
Me: "Whatever."

I ignore whatever messages I get after that. I wasn't going to be talking all day to people other than Hayden. I still didn't see why it mattered if we did have sex. Not like it was unprotected with some guy I barely knew. I had been with Hayden for almost two years, I love him.

"What did she want?" He asks me, standing behind me. He knew her before we started dating, and automatically didn't like her. She had a thing for him.

"Wanting to know what I was doing. She asked if we had sex, and I tried telling her that I didn't, but she didn't believe me. I was lying to her because I didn't want her to find out that we did do it." I was getting flustered. I didn't want her knowing.

"Baby, baby. Stop. It's ok, trust me." He tries soothing me with a kiss. I act like I was ok, just to make him happy. "You ok now? I don't want your pretty self to be worried about someone like her. She's not worth it."

"I know she's not worth it, so I'm not gonna worry about her. Let's go for a walk, just to give us something to do." He agrees to go, and we leave. My mind still was racing. What would she do?
