• Clean the bulk using a few paper towels and dispose it off appropriately.
• Blot the stained wet area with tissues or paper towels.
• Prepare a cleaning solution by mixing ¼ teaspoon of mild washing detergent with 1 cup of lukewarm water. Apply this solution to the stained area, using a cloth and repeat until no stain is transferred to the cloth.

• Rinse off the solution using clear, lukewarm water by wetting the stained carpet fibers and vacuum to remove the excess moisture.

• Scoop up the all solids with a spoon or spatula.
• Wet the area with a solution that is a mixture of white vinegar and lukewarm water and apply it to the stained area.
• Blot the area dry by placing a couple of paper towels or tissues.
