Remembering
Poetry cycle – My Teenage Years...Poetry I wrote in high school. It takes a long time to find the right love…
Memories like sunlight
Bright moment flash by
Like neon signs
Reflected by the rain.
The warm look I see upon your face
A smile that says so much
Your searching for love
My lips receiving.
Then like sunlight turned to night
A cold darkness not realized
I can see you walking by
Only I want you to stop.
Reaching out I can feel you near
Then when out hands touch
You pull away.
But for me the love that was there
Shall stay forever
And forever I’ll be remembering.
