Remembering Michael Jackson This Halloween with a Thrilling Costume

This is an article to remember the power of Michael Jackson. Also talks about how to have a great time this Halloween costume. Come remember the moonwalk.
It was 1983 and the world was about to shift axis. A small Motown boy was about to emerge as the most influential pop icon of all time. Dressed in his signature black pants, silver socks, silver shirt, black-sequined jacket, single sequined glove, and black fedora, Jackson spun around, posed, and started moonwalking. Was it magic? Did Michael just defy gravity? What did he have in those shoes anyway?

Whatever it was it got everyone's attention. Michael Jackson could do no wrong. Every album, every dance move, every song was an instant #1 hit. He made people feel bad during a time when bad was becoming good. He thrilled and chilled the world by redefining the music video industry with a 14-minute, dawn of the dead like Thriller. It was the most expensive video of its time, costing $500,000, and Guinness World Records listed it in 2006 as the "most successful music video", selling over 9 million units. I bet the original costume alone would sell for over 50 grand today!

Michael was a legend, an icon, and at times a complete mystery. He was the complete package for a complete pop star life. A lifestyle that has tried to be emulated by many in an industry that is flooded with mediocre, plastic talent. During a time when the pop world was lacking creativity and uniqueness and needed a spark, Michael shook the Planet one last time.

On June 25, 2009, before going on tour to moonwalk the planet one more time, Michael Jackson chilled the world with the news of his death. Some went into mourning, some were in denial, while many got out their signature black pants, silver socks, silver shirts, black-sequined jackets, single sequined gloves, and black fedoras, turned the volume up and started remembering again. The spins, the poses, and of course, the moonwalk were back! Back were the signature moves that started a wave of a new generation of dance moves. Remember how bad we were and how good it felt?

When asked what the best way to remember Michael this season is many said, "Just get out your MJ gear and feel the passion of 1983". So what do you think will be the coolest Halloween costume this year? With Halloween coming Michael Jackson costumes have be literally "moonwalking" off the shelves. Costume designers also found new inspiration from the late legend and have put in the same hard work and dedication he exemplified to capture the uniqueness and authenticity of the original Billie Jean, Thriller, and Bad outfits.

"I wanna be Michael Jackson this year", said Ken as he scrolled through the awesome costumes designs for this Halloween. "They are worth every penny", he went on as he skimmed the prices. What a great way to commemorate the "King of Pop" and impress your friends as you moonwalk into the Halloween party defying gravity and keeping the spirit Bad. Now doesn’t that sound good?
