Regretful Tiger
Don’t be like this, you know what’s right. So do it and don’t lie. (Hey Greg and Zak, I finally wrote it without people deleting it!)
A tiger so strong a brave
Lets nothing get in his way
Doing what he wants
When he wants
Lurking the night
With his eyes glowing bright
Yet so soft and dull
Running fast
Through the forest
Jumping the mountain rocks
Paying no pity to anyone
His whole life
Then one day sees a bird
With a broken wing
Laying on the ground
His rock hard heart
Melted with sorrow
He picked up the bird
And took him home
Then nursed him back to health
When better,
The bird thanked him
With such grace
The tiger smiled in return
With a flap of his wing
The bird flew away
And the tiger felt warm inside
News got around
That a tiger helped a bird
And his friends came to confirm
The rumors they had heard
With the bird behind them
Telling the story again
The tiger disowned the bird
Said its not true
Then looked the bird in the eye
And said he was a liar
The bird looked away
With disgrace and then flew away
The tiger went through his life
Regretting what he did
Then died one night
With a heavy heart
And a lie in his mind
Lets nothing get in his way
Doing what he wants
When he wants
Lurking the night
With his eyes glowing bright
Yet so soft and dull
Running fast
Through the forest
Jumping the mountain rocks
Paying no pity to anyone
His whole life
Then one day sees a bird
With a broken wing
Laying on the ground
His rock hard heart
Melted with sorrow
He picked up the bird
And took him home
Then nursed him back to health
When better,
The bird thanked him
With such grace
The tiger smiled in return
With a flap of his wing
The bird flew away
And the tiger felt warm inside
News got around
