Reese Witherspoon & Ryan Phillippe Officially Over

No details of the divorce were released, but it is reported that Witherspoon and Phillippe finally worked out financial and custodial agreements. The divorce was finalized Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The document reportedly read, "[The court finds] the parties have settled all their remaining issues in these proceedings." The details were not released, but it has been reported that the couple was interested in joint custody of their children Ave, 8, and Deacon, 4.

Witherspoon, 32, filed for divorce from Phillippe, 33, in November 2006 after seven years of marriage citing irreconcilable differences. Last October the couple’s marriage was officially terminated, but they still had the matters of custody and finances. Phillippe reportedly did not seek spousal support from Witherspoon who earns considerably more than he does.

Both Witherspoon and Phillippe have moved on. She is dating her Rendition co-star, Jake Gyllenhaal. The two have been seeing each other since April 2007. They briefly split that June, but within weeks were back together. Phillippe reportedly approves. He said of Gyllenhaal, "He’s a good dude." He said of Witherspoon, "I love her, and I want her to be happy, and it seems like she is." Just recently, Phillippe went public with his relationship with his Stop Loss co-star, Abbie Cornish. The two reportedly had a fling while filming the movie which allegedly led to his split with Witherspoon. Both Phillippe and Cornish have denied the rumors and say they began dating after his divorce.
