Reduce Embroidery Time, Labor and Money With Embroidery Digitizing

Embroidery digitizing is one of the two different techniques used in machine embroidery, which as the name suggests uses a machine to do the actual embroidery work. The computerized or digitized technique is what is popularly being used around the world mostly because of the very little input both in terms of efforts, time and money involved in the process.
Manual sewing machine embroidery is widely used in quilting and fiber art projects, as it involves the use of a sewing machine to design on a relatively smaller piece of fabric or cloth as compared to the other technique. With the advent of computers making its presence felt in the fields of designing, the manual labor involved in terms of embroidery process has reduced considerably and embroidery digitizing has become the primary means and methods of creating embroidery in this modern day and age.

There are mainly two reasons attributed for the increasing popularity of computerized embroidery, one of the reasons is that the amount of time, labor and money which was usually spent to create a single piece of embroidery has reduced drastically, as the computer and the software used for digitizing does most of the donkey work and also perfects the design and embroidery which gives it a more polished and clean finish to the end product.

The investment made for digitizing embroidery is just one time affair, as the machines are made strictly for embroidery and are ideal for the job, on the other hand the cost of owning and operating a sewing machine has gone up way too high for a common person to afford it. Apart from all that, all the manual work and the redundancy of it all to make 2 pieces of the same work is just time consuming and tiring.

The best thing about embroidery digitizing is that there does not exist a need to repeat one’s efforts time and again, as the embroidery digitizer automatically reproduces the design you have pre – made and inputted into the computer. Depending on the digitizing software you are using, one can make the design by setting up the stitching patterns and arranging the settings of the colors and the threads. It is really big surprise if one wonders why computerized machine embroidery is such a big hit, all it really needs are a bunch of easy instructions and the process is even easier.

Looking at the money matters side of it, embroidery digitizer is hands down the better method, one can buy digitizing software and programs for dime a dozen and be able to produce embroidery which is the cause of envy at everybody one knows of. But as mentioned, purchasing a sewing machine and maintaining one is a costly affair.

There are a number of individuals and small enterprises which make a business out of offering their digitizing services for those who opt to buy their embroidery designs instead of making their own. There also exist a number of machine and digitizing software manufacturers who sell their own designs.

It is quite obvious that using computerized embroidery machines is a much better bet than going manual. Embroidery digitizing is not an easy thing to do and one should get all the help there is out there.
