APPLE RETAIL STORE LISTENING STATIONS ACROSS THE U.S.
Modern Rock Band’s Hit Single, Currently No. 12 With a Bullet on Mainstream Active Rock Radio Chart, Among Artists Such as Justin Timberlake and The Fray at Apple Stores
(Nashville, Tenn.) May 25, 2007 – GRAMMY-nominated and Dove Award-winning, Red, has been selected to have its hit single, "Breathe Into Me", featured in Apple Retail Store listening stations across the country, among artists such as Justin Timberlake, The Fray and Pink.
Red’s current radio single at Christian Rock Radio, "Break Me Down", has hit No. 2 this week on the R&R Rock Chart, and No. 12 on the CRW Rock Chart. "Breathe Into Me" is No. 12 with a bullet on the mainstream Active Rock Radio Chart.
Since the June 6, 2006 release of its debut album, End of Silence (Essential Records), Red has toured non-stop, collected two No. 1 radio singles ("Breathe Into Me" and "Already Over"), won a Dove Award (Rock Recorded Song for "Breathe Into Me"), and received a GRAMMY nomination in the category Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album for End of Silence. The five-member band is: Michael Barnes, lead vocals; Anthony Armstrong, guitar; Randy Armstrong, bass; Jasen Rauch, guitar; and Hayden Lamb, drums. End of Silence was produced by Dove-nominated producer/songwriter Rob Graves and mixed by Ben Grosse (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fuel, Sixpence None the Richer).
