Rediscovery Epilogue
The End
Epilogue
Lying next to Winny, Andrew wondered at his luck. He’d rediscovered Winny on this very day five years ago and now, she was his wife.
Running a hand down her marble white shoulder as she slept, he remembered their wedding day. It’d been a blur.
But he remembered how Winny’d looked on that day.
Her white gown had been styled to resemble the one she’d worn on that first day.
She’d worn emeralds. And the white of her gown had seemed to come alive with all the colors of the rainbow.
He’d insisted that they leave her hair free.
He remembered how the sun’s light had hit her face from the skylights as she’d walked down the aisle. She looked like she’d stepped out from a Renaissance painting and right into his arms.
And she’d whispered before the priest started- Dearly beloved……
And he'd remembered saying he loved her.
Andrew’s smile widened as he ran his hand along her tummy. Soon she’d start to show.
Winny woke at his touch, "Go to sleep. We won’t get much of that once the little one comes."
Andrew kissed her and said, "Your carnal demands haven’t allowed me to sleep the past few months anyway have they, love?"
Winny smiled against his chest, her cheeks reddening, "Didn’t hear you complain."
Andrew, "Neither will you hear me do so in the future."
"I love you Andrew Thorton"
"Keep saying it!"
"Andrew!"
"All right! All right! I love you too Winny Thorton."
