Rediscovery 17

A little more wedding followed by a shock.
Five minutes hadn't passed since the time Alisa'd let Lord Doyles and Vicky out and they were already making out on the dance floor, their bodies grinding.

Susan mused, her head resting on her husband's shoulder, "That seems to be some ugly form of mating"
Rafe said with a sad look on his face, "We needn't have let them out you know." Michael added, "They're just spoiling the scenery."
Helena laughed, "At least she didn't ruin the family photos in that hideous red bag she's wearing!"
Monique who'd hit it off with one of Winny's many cousins said, "Girls grab a man, we're going to push them off the floor"
Now really, the purpose wasn't to push them off, it was to get the dust off their own shoes, but it felt good saying it.
Winny and Andrew had already taken to the dance floor.
Andrew laughed softly. Winny opened her eyes and looked up enquiringly, she indicated the couples around him, all of Winny's friends already had dance partners and were burning up the floor.
,"They didn't have much trouble did they?"
Winny laughed, "Getting a partner's never a problem. Shaking off the irritating ones is! But we've pretty much perfected that skill too."
It was late afternoon by now and the bulk of the guests had left, only the family and close friends remained.
It was a sight to behold.
Unwittingly, all the couples were dancing in concentric circles around the bride and the groom.
The late afternoon light, washed over them in a soft golden glow, making it seem magical.
Infected by this sense of beauty, the couples danced, danced minus the two inches Monsieur Jean insisted upon!
Winny and Andrew were kissing, lost in their own world, oblivious to their surroundings. It was like Macy's party in a way!
Suddenly, the band replaced the soft ballads with ABBA's dancing queen!
A cheer went up in the crowd as they swung to the gay tunes.
When the chorus came, the entire group sang out in unison with their eyes towards the newly weds, "You can dance! You can jive! Having a time of your life!"

* * *

It wasn't long after that the band was packing up. It was time for Susan to toss the fateful bouquet and take off to New Zealand for a long honeymoon.
Vicky made her presence known.
Elbowing her way to the front, she screeched, "Back off. That's mine."
Having heard the brat, Susan estimated carefully and tossed the bouquet to a point well beyond Vicky's reach.
A cheerful cry went up followed by astonished laughter.
Call it fate; the bunch had split into three as it had reached the crowd.
Two of the bigger bunches had landed in Linda and Annette's hands who looked at each other with stunned expressions on their faces.
The third had landed in Gisele's hand!
Winny laughed, "Ooooh. Three weddings! I'm going to flunk college with such a busy social life."
Vicky made a snatch at Gisele's bunch, but fell face down.
Shaun muttered, "Oops!" and disappeared into the crowd as magically as he'd arrived.
Aunt May who'd seen this made to go after her errant son, but was stopped as Gisele dramatically dropped to her knees in front of her and said with a hand on her heart, "Be not angry with him Aunt May. That little boy is my knight in a small black tux!"
Unwilling though she was, Aunt May laughed.
Kyle spoke with a droopy expression, "Now why didn't I trip Vicky? Then I'd be the man of the moment!"
Standing up, Gisele took his hand, "Maybe we could think of something for you to do couldn't we?"
Andrew muttered into Winny's ears, "Somethings brewing don't you think?".
"Most definitely!" replied Michael, who'd stuck himself into the conversation.

Susan and Jonathan came up to hug them goodbye.
Winny and Susan were teary eyed as they said goodbye.
Jonathan hugged Winny and imparted a bit of brotherly advice, "Don't do anything we wouldn't!"
Andrew smirked, "That leaves a lot of options open!"
Susan smirked back," As if we don't know that you've explored them already!" Andrew and Winny watched in stunned silence as the black limo decked with flowers pulled out of the drive.

( A week later)

The strobe lights were casting an exotic glow against the warm gold walls of the club.
That's were the youngest Westbrook and her group were spending their evening.
It'd been a week since the wedding. The number of male visitors to the Westbrook mansion had increased. But the ones who'd succeeded in gaining permanent access were, her cousins Keith and Vince who'd hooked Monique and Helena's attention. Kyle and Gisele had grown terribly close. A friend of the twins, Lord Raven, whose great grandfather had been a dangerous and scandalous sea farer had taken to Nandini, while Elaine had hit it off with Kyle's best friend, Ethan.
Winny and Andrew had stolen away to a corner and things were heating up. Winny moaned as Andrew's lips brushed her nipples through the thin fabric of her top.
She could feel his hardness against her abdomen and positively shook with desire for him.
Pulling his head down, Winny met his mouth in a violent kiss.
Andrew pulled away and looked into her eyes and spoke in a voice rough with need, "God Winny if we don't stop, I'll be tempted to take you right here."
Winny stretched her bruised lips in a smile, when suddenly her cell phone vibrated in her pocket.
The caller id, told her that it was her father. Towing Andrew with her, she went to the stairwell.
The conversation was short, but Andrew was immediately on alert as Winny turned with a troubled expression on her face, "We've to go back right now. The twins want everyone at home by 11. Dad sounded a little worried. He doesn't know what this is about. Apparently they asked Linda and Annette's parents to head to our house. They said the twins sounded really serious. Even Jacob and Alisa are on their way back as we speak."
Taking control, Andrew drew Winny to his side as they walked back to the club saying, "Tell the others, I'll ask the valets to bring out the cars."

After two hours of over speeding the whole group rushed into the tense drawing room.
Winny's parents sat there with Aunt May and Uncle Mark and Vicky and her parents and Alisa and Jacob stood by the window.
While everyone else looked worried, Vicky had a triumphant expression on her face.
Adam indicated that they should all be seated, "I have no idea what’s going on. We're still waiting for the girl's parents. Ah here they are!"
The two couples walked in. Lara and Jeremy were Annette’s parents and Angela and Toby were Linda’s. They all looked worried.
Vicky pitched in in a bitchy voice, "I don't know what the fuss is about. Maybe the dopes forgot protection and the whores are knocked up."
Before anyone could react, Winny'd slapped Vicky with all the strength in her body.
One week of Vicky was more than anyone could take, but her hurling insults at her loved ones especially when everyone was so worried was more than any sensible person could take.
Shaking with anger Winny spoke, "You horrible spoilt brat! Don't you dare insult my brothers or their fiances! You've been nothing but trouble. And if there is a whore in this room its you. Oh and just in case Linda and Annette are pregnant, it won't be bad news like it was when you were born. It'll be great news!"
Still in shock at Winny's outburst, Andrew saw Vicky getting ready to pounce; he quickly stepped in front of Winny and fought Vicky off easily.
Before he knew it, Monique,Gisele, Elaine, Nandini and Helena had surrounded the creature.
With deep loathing on her pretty face, Elaine spat, "So what's the verdict? Are you going to pretend to be invisible or do we have to take you out and do away with you permanently."
Vicky's mother spoke, "How dare you talk to my child like that you yellow skinned harpy!"
Aunt May spoke in a killer voice. Usually she was terribly forgiving and calm but this time her voice dripped venom, "Save it Pearl. Where was this spirit when your daughter was maligning everyone and everything. And you'll apologize to Elaine for that ridiculous comment."
Before anything could be said or done, the twins walked in with their fiancés in tow.
The entire congregation watched in stunned silence.
The twins were dressed in tuxedoes and Annette and Linda were resplendant in identical white antique velvet silk ball gowns!
Andrew seemed to be the only one who wasn't completely phased, "What's with the fancy dress guys? Or is what I'm guessing from the blue saffires on the ladies' hands true?"
The twins grinned as Annette and Linda blushed.

"We eloped!"

* * *

Alisa was the first to recover, "I don’t know whether to hug you or to beat you up!"

Winny added, "I could understand the twins doing something like this, but you both actually agreed to this?"

Lara walked up to the four saying, "First, I’m going to hug you and then I’m going to kill you!"

Annabel stood up with Angela and they too hugged the two pairs.

Angela reprimanded them, "I’m torn. I’m terribly happy that you’re married, but why the sudden hurry, you both’ve been holding out on the boys for two years!"

Adam laughed as he hugged his sons, "Maybe it was Jonathan’s wedding that tipped them over."

Linda inserted," It was actually."

Annette expounded," We really didn’t want a great fuss!"

Rafe put in, "Oh, and Michael and I do like to shock!"

Winny laughed as she hugged her brothers, "Blimey! You guys just knocked off five years off my life." Turning to Annette and Linda, she said in a mock angry tone," And you both deprived me of another bridesmaid’s dress. I’d grown quite fond of the trips to Janise!"

Jacob clapped his brothers on the back," What’s the next surprise you’re taking the girls to Disneyland for honeymoon?"

Rafe and Michael were gloating at Andrew, "We made it to the altar before you did!"

Andrew answered, "That’s because you didn’t have the threat from four big bears crouched to thrash anyone who came within 10 feet of their sister!"

Lord Raven walked up, "Good on you guys! And I’m glad that two of you ladies finally agreed. I might try this myself you know!"

Ethan laughed, "Nandini wouldn’t agree quite as easily you know!"

The congratulatory mob had just cleared aroung the twind when the mother brigade spoke.

With staunch expressions on their faces, the three mothers came out of a tiny huddle that they’d formed. Annabel spoke in a no nonsense manner, "Andrew, Jacob, you will shackle your brothers to the front post. They aren’t going anywhere for a month. Jonathan and Susan will be back next week, and that’s when we’ll have a proper wedding reception for these …………."

Lara offered, "Depriving-Their-Mothers-The pleasure-of a-wedding kind of goats."

Angela added, "In short, insensitive goats."

Toby laughed," Are you suggesting that Adam, Jeremy and I sired animals?"

Vicky seemed to have regained some spirit, "What else. Annette and Linda have acted like bitches in heat."

"We’ll take care of her," said Monique immediately and confidently.

In a matter of minutes, the girls, including Winny and Keith and Vince had dragged a kicking and screaming Vicky out to the back and dropped her into the pool with a resounding splash.
* * *
Back in the room, Annabel was staring Andrew down (even though he was nearly a foot taller than her), "You and Winny will have a proper church wedding, promise me that!"

Andrew hugged Annabel, "I promise! I’d have both you and mom thirsting for my blood!"

* * *

No one missed Vicky. So no one noticed a wet figure walk purposefully into the night. So no one knew that a malevolent plot would soon be underway.
