Rediscovery 13
"Winny, you have to go in and I have to go to work," groaned Andrew two days later as the two stood outside Janise Landor's cave.
The girls had to make a quick pick and stand up for fittings.
But Winny was still unwilling to let go of Andrew, "I know."
And then she kissed him again. Andrew groaned and gave in yet again.
Andrew simply couldn't get enough of Winny. She was the stuff dreams were made of and here she was languishing in his arms.
He trailed wet kisses on her throat and murmured again, "I really do have to go. And so do you."
Winny tangled her fingers in his silky black hair and held him to her, whispering against his lips, "You keep saying that. So why're you here?"
Andrew almost laughed at the futility of their situation. Deprived of any privacy both because of the hurried wedding plans and Winny's brothers who took great pleasure in springing up on them, had led Winny and Andrew to depend on these stolen moments.
"Because you're like a drug in my system. I can't do without you. And your lovable boulders for brothers keep crashing our party."
Winny smiled at him, unaware of how alluring she looked just then, "They crashed in one too many times didn't they?"
And she leaned in and nibbled on his lower lip. Andrew had given in and both of them were in seventh heaven when Alisa's voice filtered through to their ears, "Oh my God! You're both still at it. Andrew let go of Winny or the psycho bride is going to go on a rampage!"
Andrew and Winny had sprung apart with abashed grins on their faces.
"I'll see you at the bachelor's party!" said Andrew.
With one last kiss and a loving smile, he walked away to the waiting car.
Alisa grabbed Winny's hand and tugged her in.
The women in the fitting room looked at her with knowing glances. Winny smiled, "I see everyone's been appraised with my situation!" Susan laughed from her place on the fitting stool where she was standing with her arms akimbo in a silk robe, "We guessed. And yes we did need to draw our attention away from all the stress surrounding the wedding and you two gave us the perfect topic for conversation!"
A harassed looking Janise walked in, "Off the stool, Susan. Your gown's hem needs a little more work. I see Winny's joined us. Up on the stool child, you're going to model all the bridesmaid gowns for us. Winny groaned aloud.
She knew there was no use protesting so she hopped onto the stool. Janise rolled her eyes, "You intend to try the gown on top of your jeans and crabby sweatshirt. Behind the screen, you know the drill!"
Several gowns lay discarded on a nearby sofa. They'd finally chosen gowns in a golden-pink antique silk.
It was a Duchess ball gown with a strapless pleated neckline with beaded appliqué at the bodice, pleated dropped waist and a wide train. Winny was finally let off as the others took turns having themselves measured.
After a hurried coffee break Janise brought in the wedding gown with the care with which a new mother handles her baby.
It was an exquisite ivory Chantilly lace A line gown with a v neckline and beaded trim at the empire bodice. The gown had an antique silk and satin flare skirt with a sweep train.
Winny let out a piercing whistle, "That gown isn't going to stay on your back very long once Jonathan sees you in it!"

Andrew waited impatiently. He cut a smashing figure in the lobby of the hotel in faded jeans, a light blue dress shirt and a blazer, that emphasized his broad shoulders.
His eyes lit up as he saw Winny walk in. It was as if all his senses were attuned to her. He watched as Winny strode into the private lobby with a leather over night bag.
He smiled as her face lit up as she zeroed in on him and ran into his arms uncaring of the stares she drew.
"I missed you!"
Andrew laughed against her lips, "What's it been darling, 4 hours since we saw each other?"
Winny kissed him before answering," Just that? Seems like an eternity!"
Andrew tucked her into his side as they made their way to the rooms that had been booked for an overnight stay for the Westbrooks, Andrew and a few close friends. It was impossible to expect people to drive back after a bachelor’s party according to Annabel.
The lift was too crowded for Winny and Andrew to talk, but their silent glances at each other were as potent as words. Finally they got off on the 19th floor.
Briefing each other on their respective days, Andrew and Winny went into Winny's room. Without another word they were both kissing, Andrew's mouth crushed down on hers in silent demand and Winny responded in like. She was running her hands along the lines of his shoulders while he used one hand to anchor her head deep in her wavy hair while the other was on the curve of her buttocks, holding her to him firmly. He ran his hand up her back and then tentatively cupped one of her soft breasts in the curve of his palm. He waited as if to check with her for permission. Winny moaned against his mouth and pressed closer. She knew she wanted this. She'd never been so sure of anything in her life. In Andrew's advances, she'd felt desire which was far from lust. It was desire driven by love. It was the desire to make the final act of bonding between a man and a woman who loved each other. She lost track as Andrew's tongue delicately tangled with her own. Andrew had stopped fighting his want for Winny. He wanted to make love to her and pleasure her as a proof of his love for her. Just then, just then the phone rang. The sound jarred their over sensitive senses.
Andrew cursed softly as he picked up the phone and listened for a minute. He then turned to look at Winny who was still clinging to him, "That was Jacob. They're waiting for us in the lounge."
Winny touched his face and said lovingly, "Why don't you carry on? I'll join you in a bit." Andrew smiled when he saw her expression, but he still said, "Winny, about what happened just now. I'm sorry if I went too far. . . ."
Winny smiled at the worry she heard in Andrew's voice, "Andrew. Stop. Being. Noble. I love you. And if I let things go that far, it was because I want this as much as you do. Andrew, if I am old enough to feel these things, love, desire, then I am old enough to act on them too. Now go."
Supremely comforted, Andrew kissed her one more time and left with a soft warning, "Don't keep me waiting"

Fifteen minutes later, Winny walked into the lounge that had been reserved for their private party.
She was welcomed by gales of laughter from her brother and affectionate barbs, a sensual appraisal from Andrew and wide-eyed stares from the rest of the group of her brothers' friends.
Dressed in black skinny jeans, a white high collared shirt over which she wore a black silk waistcoat and black converses and had pulled back her hair in a messy bun. Now in essentials, her clothing resembled that of the men in the room, but they completely failed to hide her feminity. The white shirt revealed her creamy white arms and the collar flattered her neck. The waistcoat failed at looking manly by hugging each precious curve of Winny's body.
Greg, Jacob's oldest friend murmered, "Blimey! Sure you wanna expose your baby sister to all these young unmarried bucks when she's looking like that?"
Winny laughed as she settled down next to Andrew around the large round table," Stuffy as ever Greg? It’s a wonder Leah managed to get married with you waiting to beat up any suitor!"
Greg smiled. Leah and Winny were both victims of loving brothers. He winked and said, "She not only got married, she even managed to get pregnant three months before the wedding!"
The table burst into roars of laughter. As if on queue, waiters materialized with a round of beers for the men, while Winny opted for spring water.
Royce, Jonathan's friend from college stood up with a somber expression on his face, "My fellow men, we are gathered here today to mourn as another bachelor bites the dust. Many of whom, those sporting wedding bands and those with fiancés at home will be able to sympathize since you know what awaits him. The rest of you, let this be a warning! To bachelorhood!"
Everyone raised their glasses in a toast.
Jonathan elbowed Royce as he took his seat, "Warning? You tied yourself to Selma's apron strings a day after we got out of college!"

Winny was watching the twins carefully for a sign. Almost immediately Michael turned and nodded. Winny immediately caught Rafe's attention and winked.
She leaned into Andrew and whispered something into his ears. He banged his beer glass onto the table and some of it slopped over, conveying a code to those at the table.
Almost immediately music flowed. The twins grabbed Jonathan under the armpits and hauled him onto the table.
The rest got up and broke into song with the music. It was Cliff Richard's Bachelor Boy!
Now it wasn't a very danceable song, so they'd held hands around the table and sang it with great pomp and ceremony. They all finished at different times (quite a few were tone deaf!) and clapped with tears of laughter in their eyes.
* * *
The drinks continued to flow and as tongues loosened the men enthralled each other with behind the scenes events that took place during the planning of their weddings which eventually went off perfectly.
One had been so nervous, that he'd downed quite a bit of champagne and arrived drunk for his own wedding. The wedding planner, a frigid blonde, as he described her had stuck her finger into his throat and made him vomit it all out. Hence, he'd appeared at the altar with a clear mind.
Winny choked at the finger down the throat part. Andrew held her as she coughed. They'd been on their best behavior all evening, but it was that one touch and one look that melted Winny all over again.
As the men grew rowdy and the conversation turned to slightly drunken men discussing the stock market and world politics, Winny decided to call it a night.
She went and kissed her brothers goodnight and shook hands with some of the men she knew.
She went up to Andrew to say goodnight. He was one of the few who'd stopped after their second beer. He was talking to Jacob. She hugged him and said goodnight.
Jacob broke in, "Andrew, could you see Winny to her room? Too many are too wiped and I don't want her trapaising alone."
Andrew agreed only too happily. Both he and Winny wanted say their goodnights in private. But they had no clue exactly how good their night was going to turn out to be!
Thank you for all the amazing comments again. It’s what motivated me into writing more today even though I have an exam tomorrow. I loved some of the names you guys suggested, but I’m still going to draw lots to keep it fair.
This chapter is extremely special because its what actually happened at my Uncle’s bachelor’s party which my cousin and I watched secretly! I suggest you guys listen to the song mentioned. Its really cheesy and silly and smarmy, but it really fits the occasion!
And Giana- I can completely identify with how you feel. I have not four but FIVE older brothers, I’m the youngest. And I’m also the only sister in the immediate extended family. So yeah………..I love my brothers to death, but sometimes, the protectiveness really pisses me off.
Anonymous- There’s no problem to their having sex. But they really couldn’t do it with the four brothers waiting back inside. Not to mention that the pebbly bank wasn’t all that comfortable!
Emily- I loved all the names. They’re all characters I guess we all grew up with!
Keep writing to me! You guys rock!
