Red - Chapter Two
Red has just received tickets from her Papa, to visit him. But there is a surprise twist to it. There is only 5 tickets, when there are more than 5 family members. Red misses her mother and writes in this first chapter about her past. She is just opening up. Later on in the story, her father is forcing her to marry someone who she doesn't love or know. This story takes place in the old days.

School is not my favorite place. In fact I hate it, why? Because kids don't see me, and they make fun of me. Since I inherited my father's spirit, I argue with everyone. Miriam always nags me to be like a lady.
There is a boy in school that makes fun of me, and his name is Logan. He is in the upper grades, he pull my hair and tries to lift up my skirt. Bianca says that he likes me, otherwise he wouldn't be giving me so much attention like he is now. Logan is about three years older than I am.
So we don't see each other a lot. All the girls in my class share the same liking for Logan. All the girls especially Kelly. Kelly had always made up rumors telling everyone that Logan has kissed her before and how their parents talked of marriage between the two. I've seen Logan down the hall, when he sees Kelly, he simply pays no attention to her.
I don't understand why does everyone likes Logan. Bianca teases me and calls me a man hater. Is she right? Am I really a man hater? When I arrived home I asked Miriam if she also thought that i was a man eater. She had told me that not having feelings for men or boys, was shameful.
"If you do not love a man, then you are a Triverian girl. That will not be accepted in our home. I shall not agree."
If you are wondering a 'Triverian' is a girl who loves other girls, more than in a friend-ish way. On my way from school , I can see them with their short skirts that is above the knees, and tight tops. Papa calls them ' whores for women'.
When I step foot on my bedroom, I can smell a rotting smell. Before I could solve the smell, I can called by Miriam.
"Children, Your father has sent us tickets to go to America. But it seems like there are only 5 tickets."
Five? Only Five? There are more than 5 in this family. Miriam, Joseph, the twins, Baby Catherina, and I. Would that mean that we would have to leave one behind? How can this be?
I cannot imagine moving to a different country without my family, even though they sometimes crawl creep under my skin, I still love them.
