Rebecca Romijn Expecting Twins

The twins will be the first children for Romijn, 35, and O’Connell, 34. A source close to the couple reported that both the babies will be girls and that they were conceived without the help of and fertility treatments or fertility drugs. A source reportedly said, "Jerry couldn’t be happier about becoming a dad."

The couple met at a party in 2004 and O’Connell popped the question about a year later. They were married in an intimate ceremony in July 2007 at their home in Los Angeles. Recently O’Connell said of his wife, "We have a lot of fun together. I really enjoy being with her. I think Rebecca really enjoys being with me." He has also said at the time that they were trying to have kids and that they have had "a lot of fun" practicing.

This is the first marriage for O’Connell who got his big acting break in 1986’s Stand By Me. O’Connell has starred in a number of movies including Scream 2 and Jerry Maguire as well as television shows such as Sliders, Crossing Jordan, and Carpoolers. Next up for O’Connell is Do Not Disturb a Fox sitcom set to debut in the fall. Romijn, a former model, was married once before to actor John Stamos. She has appeared on shows such as Just Shoot Me and Pepper Dennis. She also has a new show coming in the fall called Lake City and will also appear on a few episodes of Ugly Betty.
