We were nearing our 5th anniversary and I wanted to write down our journey of five years to gift it to him as a letter. I searched for ideas everywhere, starting from my usually empty brain. I wanted words that could do justice to every moment I had spent with my boyfriend in the past five years. The brain did not help. It is a little weak in these matters, isn't it? I finally decided to cancel out on my brain and ask my heart instead. Having done that, this is what I wrote down for him.

Dear T, today when we have completed so many years, here are some reasons why I love you, more with every passing second... These are the reasons why we are still together..

The Way You Make Me Feel...
One of the most important reasons why I love you is because of the way you make me feel. Because of you, I am a more confident person today and more loved. You are the reason for my happiness and for my success. Without you, I would be sad, lonely and incomplete. I feel loved and pampered with every single breath that I take. Everyday I wake up to a world where you are my sun and sleep in a world where I await your dreams. There is never a day that you don't make me smile and where happiness doesn't await me in heaps and piles.

Your Support is for Real...
Your support makes me survive the toughest of times. It is because of you that I'm not afraid to take up challenges, however difficult. Just your existence assures me that you will be there to guide me through thick and thin and when times are grim. I know I can overcome all problems, just because you are by my side. Whenever I have faced a path with too many stones to stop me, you've come lifted me way above them all. It's you who gives our relationship the strength it deserves.

With You, There Is Nothing That I Fear...
I am not afraid to break any barriers and run across all lands because I know you would be with me. When I know you're here, there is never a second that I fear. It's you who taught me the magic of faith and belief. I know I can always come back to you, without thinking twice. I love you because you are one person who would take me in no matter what. I love you not because you would die for me but because you taught me how wonderful life could be.

The Love That You Promise is Forever...
I love you because your love promises a certainty of being there.....always. I love you because your love is unconditional and because I know I can always have it. Your love for me comes from within and it comes with a promise to stay forever. I know that even years later I can always say, I still have a crush on you. I know that the enthusiasm and the interest you have now, will never fade away. I know that even ten years later, you will call me and wait for me ten minutes before you promised.

It's With You, I Connect Deepest
I love you because I don't have to speak for you to understand me. You know what's on my mind at times even when I don't. You know when to talk and more importantly, when to just patiently listen. You know when I have a bad day and you know how to make it go away. You know how to say those words that heal and make sense out of anger unreal. I know I have to not say a word, for you thought of them before they were uttered.

These were some reasons why I love my boyfriend, only some of them. I hope these interested you and that you had a smile on your face right till the end. To be frank, you don't need many reasons to love someone just a great love that you can reciprocate.
